As far as CSC goes, it's the same for everyone who files no matter what country they're from. So for starters you're looking at an average of 90-120 days for your petition to be approved. From there it goes to the NVC and that's about 1-2 months. Then it goes to the embassy and that's when the process is different for everybody since each consulate works differently.

CR-1

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Yeah! So happy to see more Ecuador peeps on this site!

My Ecuadorian fiance has been in the US with me for one month now! He had his interview at the GUayaquil Embassy on March 22, and we flew back together on March 29th! It's been amazing having him here with me- seeing all the cultural differences again through his perspective.

Anyway, I have posted a lot of info on our experience at the Guayaquil consulate - check out the Embassy Info/Reviews section of this site. Also feel free to send me specific questions about the process. I had TONS of questions as I was going through the process, and I know Ecuador-specific info is hard to come by. So email me through this site, and I'll do my best to help out.
