Date shown on GC from AOS

Hello, for those who waited almost a year or a year and some months before receiving their green cards from AOS, please confirm what date is shown as issued date.

Someone wrote on July 2017 filers, that his GC shows filled date meaning he has less than 9 months to ROC. Could that be a mistake on his GC?

Issued date?  Do you mean Residence Since date?

the date should be the date they approved the green card and then you remove conditions two years after that. Not the date you applied for the green card. That guys card was wrong. 

 

One person accidentally had the date they applied for their fiancé visa which obviously is before they go married so was impossible to be correct and they were advised to apply for it to be corrected so there wasn’t any confusion down the line.

The "Resident Since" date on your green card is either:

 

(i) the date you entered the US on an immigrant visa; or

 

(ii) the date your I-485 was approved by USCIS, if you obtained your green card through AoS.

I don’t have mine and haven’t seen it for the first time. So I believe it’s the Residence since date.

So when it shows the date you filed your GC through AOS, is that wrong as Illiria commented.
