My i 751 form is due for submission in 2 weeks. I recently got a job good offer in Cali and moved to Cali, whereas my wife already has an good job in DC and lives in DC, she needs more time before she can relocate. We visit each other as often as we can and have proof of our flight tickets to and from LA/DC. I am waiting for my wife to relocate to CA but it may be another 6 months. We are worried if it may affect our i751 application. Please advise how we should file with different addresses. Wife wants to relocate and move to CA might take 6 months as she needs find a job and in process of being promoted. Would a cover letter help?

Well surely you have lots of things since your marriage in 2015 showing the same address and joint accounts,  bills, insurance, beneficiary status, etc.  Load up on those. I would write a separate statement addressing your move, the reasons, and give an approximate date that she might be able to relocate. Include evidence of continued travel back and forth. Put that with evidence, not cover letter.

The I 751 is taking quite some time (my husband is a March 2017 filer and we still have months to go), so the chances are good that you will be back in the same household by the time they adjudicate it.  I'd say you will have to use the different addresses on the application, and writing a letter to explain it wouldn't hurt. When she moves, you will be able to submit a change of address for her.  That will let the government see the timeline...you've written the letter saying you are apart, it will take six months, your wife will submit a change of address to them.

Thank you very much I will include all those you mentioned and hope I can still continue working and driving after my conditional greencard & DL both expires on 8th June '18. This is another concern. Can I continue driving exp date 8th June'18? I have 90 days to submit i 751 & get reply back before 8th June.  To renew DL. Jeez those timelines are unlikely if processing times are 4-6 months for approval ( for Removal of conditions). I hope I can I drive with my UK Driving license if there are major delays with processing times??  These timelines are not good

You can't use your UK license once you are a resident of the US and even have a greencard. You aren't a tourist from the UK anymore. Your receipt from filing extends your greencard expiration one year. It says so in writing on your NOA1 receipt.
