Hi,

I'm an Indian who got married to a US national. We got married in UAE. My wife has been living and working in USA  for 8 months now, and I am living and working in UAE.  I wanted to know how to process the K-3 visa and below mentioned are my questions

Do I need to get an ITIN with the W-7 form as a spouse of a U.S citizen?

Since am abroad , can I submit certified copies of the documents(For ex. India tax ID and national ID) instead of originals?

Thanks Roel. Do I need a tax ID before the start of cr1 visa process?

You need an ITIN if you want to be a US taxpayer not needed as an intending immigrant

YMMV
