So after the interview for my husbands visa they wanted more documents. Police reports. We got them and turned them in. Then they called and said they wanted a Psychiatric Evaluation and to go to the medical clinic that we first had went to. Went there then the Dr sent us to the hospital in Managua to have the psychiatric evaluation done. Then called and said they need another urine test. Did that. Then the Dr calls and says he needs 4 passport photos. Also when the Embassy called for him to have the urine test.. they told my husband that they hadn’t received the Psychiatric Evaluation and the urine test was the last thing and if he didn’t pass he would be denied. At this point I’m not trusting the medical clinic Dr. He also said the police report had marijuana on it. I knew that it didn’t. That was a lie. Contacted our lawyer just to make sure. Nope!... No marijuana! So why is this Dr lieing? Is he trying to get my husband to admit to something that’s not true? Visa status says Ready. So now we’re just waiting. Jan 16,2018 was his interview. It is now Feb 11. This has been so stressful. These test were done last week, urine done this week(2/5). We are 100% sure that Psychiatric Evaluation was good because the psychiatrist told him and his urine was clean because he doesn’t do drugs or drink! Any opinions?? Would like to know!

That is bizarre.

If you are still waiting something from the doctor, can the lawyer call the medical clinic? When a lawyer is involved they might get scared. Maybe what they are requesting is normal or maybe they are trying to take money from you by making your husband jump more hoops.

If you are not waiting anything, just the interview, I'd do a couple of practice interviews with your husband.

He’s already had his interview. At the interview they wanted two police reports form different places he had lived. We turned those on. Then it went on to Psychiatric Evaluation and urine test. The problem is the Medical Clinic dr.  Putting his two cents in and accusing my husband of trying to hide the police report that we had already gave the Embassy. The police report was talked about at his interview that’s why they wanted the Other police reports. The doctor also lied about the marijuana. Said it was on his police report, which is a lie!! I don’t understand why the doctor is lieing to my husband. Is it maybe trying to get him to confess to as if he was guilty! Of course my husband did not agree with him. My husband doesn’t do drugs. We are 100% sure his test are all clean!! Is this common for a doctor to accuse someone or lie? If it’s common then I would understand that he’s just trying to help the Embassy out by trying to find truth in someone. Then again not sure the Embassy would have a doctor treat visa applicants like this..

It’s too late. We’re just waiting on the next decision. When I check his status it’s says “READY”. It’s been like that for about two weeks now. Can you change Drs like that if they were to ask for something else? I’m not sure. I really don’t know what more they could want. Hopefully the next change in his status is something positive!! I’m praying!
