Hi All!

I am in the revision stage before the send-off of forms (I-130, I-130a, I-864, G-325a, etc.) . Everything looks really well, but I have a question about dates. As it relates to terms of residency (how long you have been living somewhere) and employment info (dates from/ to of working) , do I need to write/type the most current date (ex. like today 02/10/2018) or am I able to write/type 'PRESENT' for the Date To:  section  and it still be accepted by USCIS ?

I DO NOT WANT TO BE DENIED FOR SUCH A SMALL THING

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

You won't be denied for such a small thing...  Present is an appropriate answer

YMMV

Thanks so much!

Ok, well may I ask one more question?

On the I-864, Part 5 : Sponsor's Household Size:

I am supposed to write/ type 1 for every option that applies.

so, it goes like this:

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

Item 1: I am only sponsoring my husband , so                                                +1

Then the instructions say:

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

Item 2: Is already auto-populated for yourself, so again                                +1

Item 3: If you are married , enter 1 , for your spouse,.... so again                 +1  , but of course he doesn't live with me (obviously, overseas currently)

In short , I am not sure whether the total should be 3 (counting the 1s) , or 2 ( not counting the married status part, since he resides overseas).

Sorry if this sounds wacky. I'm just confused.

First, the I-864 is not filed with the I-130 in a visa case.  Second, the G325a is not used, because the new version I-130 and the I-130a have replaced it.  This is in the instructions you need to become an A-student of.  You may not be able to type the word PRESENT but you can hand write it before mailing.

Instructions for Part 3 on page 4 of my Instructions? I see that it only includes my B.I. as the sponsor. Just checking to make sure I don't need that G-325a form for my husband's information mainly...

Become an A-Student of the I-130 instructions.  Make sure it's the latest version of the form and instructions.  Doing so will be critical to your ultimate success.  When I have already answered your question, it is extremely unlikely I'll give you a different answer later.

I will. I have confirmed that I have the latest versions of all forms I need. And thank you sir for your response.
