I was in Palawan and rolled by ankle, I thought it was just a sprained ankle.  It was killing me, went to like two different Hilots on that island.  I was thinking they could help ease the pain.

 

I got home about 3 weeks later and went and got an xray and was told I had a hairline fracture.

Awww poor thing.. hope its  perfectly fine now.

It was back in 2011,  a long time ago.  I had to do a Island hoping tour that day going to places like Honda Bay and a another island, it was a 12 hour trip.  My ankle was swelled up pretty bad. I rolled it around 4 am that morning by the pool at the hotel. It It killed me the first day.

 

I went to the first hilot who gave me long massage and then rubbed some oils on it and told me to not drink beer for 24 hours and not get my foot wet for 2 days.  I played along.

I see. I can't imagine how much pain you felt during the hilot did the massage 😬
