How can I check if my social security number is valid and associated with my records?

 I just called USCIS today to request to expedite my application. Can you tell me if you had similar experience? The customer rep was really pissed off at me and tried to encourage me to not expedite. She warned me that they will immediately contact you back because it is an emergency and if you don't have the proper documents, they will reject it and you can't call us back for 30 days. I tried to ask what is considered a proper document and she said he can't say. When I said yes I want to expedite anyway, she put on a request for me and said they may respond back to you within 5 - 15 days. I had to struggle to hold my laugh. Few minutes ago she made it sound like USCIS will knock on my door to play WHO IS GOING TO WIN EAD CARD ON THIS FINE MONDAY, and now it is 5 - 15 day wait. That was not pleasant...
