When to go in for I 55 stamping?

My Noa1 for I175I application was dated on April 15. When should I go for I 55 stamping? Thank you so much.

Your NOA date isn't important. What is important is the date that your green card expired. 

 

Say for example your green card expired June 17, 2017. Regardless of when you filed your I-751 and when you received the NOA for that filing, the NOA extends the validity of your green card for one year. In this example, your new expiry date would be June 17, 2018. So then, when do you need to get the I-551 stamp? In this case, you should make an Infopass appointment to get the I-551 stamp sometime between May 18 and June 16 2018. Some offices don't want to give the stamp more than a month before the extension expires (which is why I suggest no earlier than May 18, unless you have a pressing reason, like travel that will keep you out of the country after June 16.

Thank you so much for that response. My field office isin detroit however I may be travelling to Florida around that time before my card expires. Is it doable to go to the field office in FL vs MI for the I 55stamping ? Thank you so much!

I'm not sure. Some offices seem to be okay with people outside their jurisdiction booking infopass appointments, others are definitely not. And you likely won't find out until you try to get in!
