Hello. I recently joined this site and I was looking for information to help me prepare for the interview. I have already filed all the necessary paperwork and i have received a work permit and I am working with it, I am a student and was out of status, I have also worked illegally... My lawyer says these are not conditions for denying residency so I included all this info in my application. I have been married for 7 months now and been with my spouse for a year....

Basically I want to know if I'm in good standing and what the interview is like. What kind of questions am I going to to be asked?

No one can say what your interview will be like... they are all different.... all you can do is make sure you take enough evidence to show joint living... the list on the interview letter is good...

When asked questions by the interviewer just be honest but don't offer information just answer what is asked.....

Your lawyer should help you get ready for the interview... they will have a better idea how your local office works...

Good Luck
