Probably you should explain a little more about your case, starting by a timeline

Ok, I read your previous post's, and I'm sorry you were denied before.

I read the questions they asked during the interview. Any idea why they were so concerned about you or your wife being previously married?. Now that half of the year has passed since your interview, do you have any idea what could had hurt your case?

Questions for the rest of the VJ members:

1. Is normal to know/see when your case it's been with background check unit?

2. What kind of circumstances make a case to be send to that unit?  Is normal for every case after denial?

No we didn't get any letter yet , this was an update information received from the congresswoman for her inquiry from the USCIS about our case , because it's almost about eight months now and in total combined from Ghana to thirteen months .

Information about your actual circumstances of meeting, ages, number of prior marriages, will help us help you.  You are coming from one of the highest fraud countries from which foreigners try to immigrate based on fraudulent marriages, anywhere in the world.  It's debatable whether Ghana or Nigeria would be number 1 in US immigration fraud.

"Now long?" questions are really impossible to answer.  From visa denial to Notice of Intent to Revoke, is usually six months to a year but it can take longer.

I agree with Pushbrk there is no way to tell my case was returned and USCIS received it April 10th of 2017 I have not received nothing from them at all still waiting to see what they're going to do where is other people case that was returned after mine have already received their notice or noi r we just have to hold on and pray if we tell you a time it would just be guessing I was told from the time they receive it back from the embassy it would take 180 days well guess what that has passed already October 2017 would have been the 180 days to hear from them nothing I have gotten
