HELLO,

I have a question, maybe someone can help me answer my doubts. My fiance filed for my visa, I have two kids form previous marriage, they have double citizenship, because ex husbands is american. They have american passports. Now I have full custody of my kids, they took all rights on his kids. Have two questions:

1. Is this topic going to make difficult to get my visa?

2. If they approve my visa they wouldnt have to file for K2 visa right?

Thanks

1.  It shouldn't.

2.  They don't need visas if they are US Citizens.....

well, thats the question, would I have to take them to the interview anyways and dr appointment? I know they dont need a visa but, they are living with me there, they are little kids. Thanks

No, they are guaranteed entry to the US because they are already citizens.   They are NOT going to be interviewed, and they are not required to have a medical exam......

I have a baby, is our (My Fiance petitioner) son. Our son is already a US Citizen aswell. When i filled out the DS-160 i put that he is coming/traveling with me from Mexico to US. when i Check CEAC case status it shows me to case numbers.. extension 01 and 02. I called the embassy to see why? and they told me that the other was for my son, that i shouldn't worry about this.

But i'm just concerned about if i filled out correctly the DS-160... This happened to you as well?

did you received already the package from embassy? i called medical in ciudad juarez and they told me instructions about the kids would be explained there. If it was necessary to bring them over interview and medical exam. but most likely not because the were already citizens. When do you have your appointment in embassy?

Hey!,

I haven't receive the letter from embassy yet. I called them and the embassy have in their records that i requested the letter in the 17th, so i guess is like asking for the letter in expedite mode or why not; and i was told it takes about 2-3 weeks and that "I'm on time" to receive it, but i'm kind a worried since another sources says 2.5 months, either way i'll trust the embassy and if i don't receive it before my local CAS appointment i'd be traveling to get the letter.

I don't think they need to present to any of the appointments though... also the embassy told me ""just mentioned that you child appear in your DS-160 but that he's US citizen" so i understand that they don't need to do any of the process.

I set my appointment on the 16th, the only ones they had was for July 18th, but i kept checking and last friday got open a couple of dates on early July so at the end i have my consular interview for July 3rd, June 26th CAS and July 2nd Medical one.
