the processing times for application of 1-130 haven't been updated since November 2017, does that mean they are still on march 2017 applications for Nevada? 1-130 for unmarried child under 21 with U.S citizen mother

oh my, I work at a place we work with Nevada so it's been stuck in my head. I meant to say Nebraska. Thank you for clarifying for me. How come USCIS hasn't updated, I'm glad they are past march. I sent my application in and it was received on feb 6th so do you think next year will be reviewed then at the rate they are going

yes its Chicago to lockbox. wow that's so long, so do they put it into their system when they receive it or do they do that when they get to reviewing it later? I'm not sure how process works?

not a problem at all, once the Chicago box gets it, they forward it to the service center that will handle your case, once you get your NOA1 it will tell you your receipt number, and what service center will be handling your case.

you can download the USCIS app called case tracker to your smart phone, and put your receipt number in there to track the progress of your case, once you set up your time line you will be able to click on processing times and you can see those in Nebraska and when they were approved, as it gets closer to your time.

I know someone who applied for their mother to come over has been taking longer, and depending on the age of your child it could take some time.

I put in CR1 for my spouse and it took 8.5 months for approval, now I am waiting at NVC to complete those steps.

Hang in there, the process, is stressful, aggravating, long, and often unbearable

I really do appreciate the information you're giving me, it's very helpful! Congratulations on the acceptance and I hope the process is finalized soon!!
