I-751 processing time

Hello,

 

I submitted I-751 for removing conditions on my green card with all supporting documents in May 2017, received green card extension notice that same month, and completed biometrics the next month. My USCIS online status has been showing "Case Was Received" since then. Given that I still haven't received my new green card, can anyone tell me what sort of processing times they have experienced with the removal of condition? My case is assigned to the Vermont service center.

May 2017 filer as well! Be prepared to apply for citizenship while the removal still in process! it's really sick and we have nothing other than waiting.

Roc from jan - feb and a few from march 2017 are getting approved.  Just hang in there  we all have to wait.

You can also click on "Processing Times" in the blue banner at the top of VJ to see the times for both CSC and VSC.  We're also May 2017 filers and not expecting anything until summer at the earliest...

So how do you know if you can file for citizenship while waiting for ROC. My husband came in on K1 so he's been here for over 3 years which I believe it the minimum you must be in this country for before filing. I guess my real question is how do you know you can file while waiting for ROC?

Hello, we applied a lot later than mid 2017...we applied in Feb 2018 and received the extension letter within a few weeks and did the biometric in March 2018. The Extension letter extends the Green Card and EAD by 1 year. What happens when that expires? Like in May 2019, when the extension expires but we are still under processing, can we still continue working?

My wife's I751 was received on Fe, 27, 2017 at csc. Gave her an extension tru May 2018. Went to our LFO to get another extension which we received with no problem. Then around 5/09/2018 the case was transfered from CSC to NBC.

Today 6/13/2018 on our wedding anniversary, we got an update requesting additional evidence. So the letter in on the way.

we had send the office evidence we bought a house, same bank account, wife was pregnant.

If your 1 year extension letter is expiring, and they go by one year of your green card expiration date, schedule an Infopass appointment with your local USCIS office to receive a 6 month extension. This is am I-551 stamp that goes in your passport and allows you to keep working & traveling until they approve your case. If by any chance your case is still not approved by the end of that 6 month stamp you schedule another appointment and get an additional 6 month stamp.
