We are getting ready to submit our I-129 and I just want to make sure I am correct about the G-325A form.

Is it no longer needed? Please advise Thank you

Better safe than sorry. Just send it, if they don’t want it, they will just throw it away. I applied for my fiancé in June 2017, and we sent it. I also sent a proof of everything that I put in the form. For instance, birth certificates, passport pages for both of us, employment letter to prove where we were working and how much I was making etc. I even sent both my citizenship certificate and my US passport page so I wouldn’t get RFE

Not on the USCIS checklist.

Not in the K-1 guide here.

Not in the I-129F instructions.

Multiple threads on VJ this week asking this question.

I think the answer is clear. ;)

Honestly, knowingly sending unnecessary info is more likely to result in an RFE IMO due to a higher chance of discrepancies. There was one such instance like a month ago where somebody sent a G-325A when it was no longer required, but put the wrong DOB (off by exactly 1 year) and they got an RFE since it mismatched what was on the I-129F.

Financial and employment information is not necessary and won't be used by the embassy (too old by the time the embassy gets the case to be relevant). Again, it may just raise unnecessary questions (i.e. if your employment or salary information changes between filing and interview).

I got your point. But I sent everything and was approved in December.
