Wow! The process has sped up since we filed! Haha!

We filed January 17 and got our Noa2 in September 17.

Horrible wait!! All worth it in the end though! I’m now living in Michigan with my partner and we are getting married in just under 2 weeks! Eeeek.

Thank you.  This is a very important factor.  The vast, vast majority of filers won't see approvals anywhere near 68 days......i hope these cases aren't factored into the averaging algorithms here on VJ.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

It is not updated online and there's no movement in any other cases near early October  or late September.

Wow, I guess that could be a good thing? I am Dec 29th

It happened to a few cases in random. Nothing regular so I wouldn't wait for it specifically.

Under normal circumstances there are still august, September, October, november and a big portion of December is waiting before that.. so again unless one more random hits your case it is very unlikely.
