Is it possible to file for Green card if US daughter is disable and sick, or what kind of protected status can one file for based on disable son/daughter? i have a friend that has a daughter in America, she was born here disable. He ask me if he could stay in order to take care of his daughter i said  i really don't know but i can ask the expert on here.

Then she will not be sponsoring anybody for a very long time and who knows what the rules will be then.

This is unfortunate. Sounds like she is a US citizen. But she cannot file for anyone until she is 21 years old. Besides the father. who else is providing care for her?

I'm pretty sure the child's mother would have something to say about her leaving the US. If they were a couple the mother would petition the father. i doubt mom is will to let the child leave the country. 

 

 

The father can apply for an extension on his visitor visa.

He has a visitor visa?

 

If he has then with a 6 year old daughter seems unlikely he would want to prejudice it, and he can not work and not sure how many people have the finances to do this.
