K1 Fiance Visa from Pakistan

If i met my finace in person before engagment but i was not there for actual engagment am i eligable for K1 visa? And what is average processing time for K1 visa from filling to Interview date?

Do you know the requirements for filing?  Have you met face to face within the past 2 years?

 

9-12 months for processing

Pakistan doesn't issue many k1s so you want to make sure you have a lot of evidence before trying or you run a big risk of not getting approved. Just because you CAN file now doesn't mean you SHOULD. Make sure you have spent a lot if time together with many pictures with your families.

you are elgibile if you have met her in the past 2 years

 

however let me give you a advice

 

if you have a lot of time in hand and you can live without your fiance - go ahead and file the K1 ... chances of not getting approved are high

 

However, if you want to be together as soon as possible.. Marry her and file CR1 .. higher chance of approval and will save you a lot of time, money and misery

hey, I would like to know My K1 Fiance Visa was filed on 25 May 2o17 and my US fiance just received an RFE (Request for Evidence) on 19 jan 2018.

I want to know being Pakistani what are the precautions measures need to take and also tell me what are the possible documents we should carry at the time of Interview for piece of mind. Do i need a affidavit of support my any one from Pakistan like my father of Uncle .???
