Haven't gotten my NOA yet.. what to do?

We sent in all our AOS paperwork on Jan 19th. On Jan 25th, we got an email saying our case was accepted and we'd receive the NOA within 7-10 days. On Jan 29th, we got a receipt for each of the 3 documents. We're still waiting for the NOA approval letter though. How much longer should we wait for this before I have to contact USCIS? Also, the check was cashed and when I check online, it says the i-131 and i-765 were accepted and the fingerprint fee for the i-485 was accepted. Thanks for any info you may have.

So you already got your NOA1 right now or are you waiting for it? You won't get your approval letter for many months.

Now that you asked me this I realize we got the NOA1 I believe (i-797c). I thought we'd get an acceptance letter (not approval) and this was the NOA1. I realize now I've been confused and want to clarify. So the NOA1 was the receipt we got and the NOA2 is what we'll get months from now when our case is approved? Also, when should we expect to get her biometrics appointment? Thank you SO much!

Yes, you will get it months from now unless you get a interview notice before then. Actually hope for that you get an interview because usually the process is a little quicker if you have an interview. 

 

You should get your biometrics letter about 1-2 months after submission of your package.
