I am calling in your question your source labelling them racist. One of the things that you are labelling as racist is the idea of population control which it WAS racist back in the day, but now I have heard several Leftists say they want that inorder to limit ALL population. This is due to Climate Change and Saving the Environment. Also another reason the SPLC is calling them racist in the article is because of their Op-ed "Our Grandparents Came To America To Escape Poverty And Despair. Will Our Children Want To Leave For The Same Reasons?". Which many of us MDR have said on here in this VERY FORUM ITSELF. So are you labelling us racist now because we think like that?

right now, ice is deporting people who have filed for asylum but their original visa has since expired in the wait time for their asylum hearing. making them illegal. this is wrong. by making broad assumptions and labeling all out of status people illegal,  instead of processing each individual properly, we are deporting people who do not deserve such treatment and should be allowed to stay, simply to 'fix illegal immigration once and for all'. then you have daca recipients, who have been filing and doing exactly what ucis asked of them..but now again this idea that we need to purge anyone who is not 'legal' in status (since no one's recognizing their daca filings) they're all lumped in together. it's wrong. no matter how you dice it.

i'm labeling FAIR racist, for the list of reasons i provided you above - not the two vague points you've posted above. 

i'm not even going to touch population control, i certainly don't advocate ANYONE telling anyone else when and how often they can reproduce.

Why are black nationalist groups and the NBP are holding BLM rallies????? They both feel under siege that is why.

 

My key issue with your article is that you are holding up the SPLC like they are the gold standard in labeling anyone anything when in reality they have lost that title for some time now. Once they started labeling some Christian and Anti-immigration groups as a hate groups then they lost me,. I personally have been to a couple Oath Keeper meetings just like the III% crowd it is made up of people of many different races and backgrounds.

So they are stopping a program that people were taking advantage of to scam the system. What is wrong with that? It got back to the home countries down south that all you had to do when you crossed the border is to try claim asylum and then they would allow you into the country. I am glad they are taking that away now.

How do you know their asylum application is genuine?  We have seen people use every way possible to get around the immigration lines here on VJ, I am certain that some folks claiming asylum are illegitimate as well.

it's not our place to judge such a thing. posts at vj mean nothing. 

if ice is picking up a person at their asylum interview (and they don't get the results at the interview) ice can override uscis and circumventing the asylum process - which they can do because an asylum interview takes over a year to get and many visa have expired by that point - putting the asylum seeker out of status 'illegal'.
