How long does it takes for receiving a police record from Cuba?

I think the best is to try to request it (If it doesn't take that long to get it) after your case is received by NVC.

Idk for other countries, but in Venezuela you have a limit per year and per month for this kind of documents.

In Cuba takes 1 entire month, I´m calculating that if NSC is taking up to 10 to 12 months and this February 24 is going to be 6 months since my NOA1, In July I´m going to ask it, NOA2 Received or not! Because they have to send it thru DHL to here to Bogota! That takes 15 days at least, and I want to have it all ready, this issue always has been my concern !

wow! that is to me a very expensive fee for just a simple document.

I understand your concern. Most of the people routed to Nebraska, are processed in 9/11 months, so you should be fine.

Really thanks and yes, things are quite expensive in Cuba, only our marriage certificate cost $ 800 dollars!, Yep, expensive oh!

Good Luck with your process, NVC Embassy etc, you´re out of NSC.

I saw your timeline almost 300 days from NOA1 to NOA2, wow, almost 10 months, and for Nebraska, you are reaaaaaaaalllllyyyyyyy fine, times are currently from 9 to 12 months, average 10, so to me I´m just going away half travel!

how are you going to apply for the Cuban police record? I studied in Cuban university and needed to apply for Cuban police record for my immigration to the U.S, and it took me about 5 months from the day i applied for it until the day i finally received it in my hand. I did my application through my local Cuban embassy, and while the certificate only took 1 month to process, they only send diplomatic package once every 3 months and  the counselor has to be there to sign it and if she goes on vacation every thing stops etc etc... . I imagine you have family there that can assist you, but if not be cautious not to wait too late as trying to get the Cuban police record has extremely delayed my case.

If you apply thru the consulate or Embassy takes much more time, but my family in Cuba is oing to ask it for me and send me thru DHL to here were I live.

It takes only 21-29 calendar days if I´m not remembering wrong...And 15 days to arrives thru DHL.

I´m calculating carefully the things for that reason.

You must get a police certificate from EVERY country you have EVER lived in, no matter where you live right now or what nationality you have, for 6 months or more from the age of 16 on. That means EVERY. SINGLE. COUNTRY.
