So I'm currently waiting for my case number from the nvc but since I've filed my petition I've moved house. I'm the beneficiary (uk), does anyone know how I can change my address at this point? (I do have a redirection on my mail but I saw somewhere that with letters from the embassy and such they don't do redirection it just gets sent back to them, not sure if how true that is though). Thanks for any help

Once it says NVC - Ready on CEAC tracker, you should contact your embassy A.S.A.P to inform them about your change of address. Reason being, they should have your case file by then and you definitely want to intercept before they start sending you any kinda paper mails, if any. NVC will not assist with change of address.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

You can't ring the embassy in London for this. They don't take phone calls. Address changes are hard to accomplish successfully, but NVC would be the place to try. Your case isn't there for long and once it leaves, it's kinda too late. Read the last post in this thread started Monday for what to do if beneficiary moves. UK specific. Does not apply to all countries.

For a K-1, NVC does absolutely nothing to the file except assign the consulate.  Trying to change address there would be futile.

London does send out a letter to the beneficiary but you don't need it for anything...  All the info is available online that is in the letter

YMMV
