Some of the information in this thread is a little misleading, imo.  THC can be detected in urine for up to a month for some individuals per my experience as a Registered Nurse working in that specific medical field.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You are right but...

Detection time through urine largely depends on quality, frequency of dosage and the individuals metabolic rate.

So 2 months would be a better recommendation to cover the vast majority of actual users.

I can't disagree.  My point was to counter the "it doesn't stay in your system very long" argument.  I have personally seen many people think they were "safe" after 2 or 3 weeks...thanks for your input.

@missileman @Keith & Arileidi Thank you for your input. *update

he bought a home test last night and took it this morning it has a faint line which on the package says it yields a negative result  , the line was very faint but it also says the instensity doesn’t matter it is still a negative. So I’m guessing it’s clearing out of his system?

That's great.. I would still follow a workout regime with a decent diet to help your body cycle through the fat(thc's favorite spot to chill).

I still stand by the statement a one time dose I someone who otherwise doesn't use won't be a problem after more than two weeks.   The people who have to wait longer are regular users.  The metabolites can be stored in organs as the quantity builds, so you can't use regularly and then expect it to be gone shortly.  A one time dose isn't the same.
