FBI lovers' latest text messages: Obama 'wants to know everything' [merged]

Let's see, when it was rumored that Trump might meddle in any investigation the old Obstruction of Justice narrative was brought out.  Sounds like Obama wanted to know if the FBI was using the proper kid gloves to deal with Hillary.

Strzok and Page, the gift that keeps on giving.

 

Newly revealed text messages between FBI paramours Peter Strzok and Lisa Page include an exchange about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give to President Obama, who wanted “to know everything we’re doing."

The message, from Page to Strzok, was among thousands of texts between the lovers reviewed by Fox News. The pair both worked at one point for Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Page wrote to Strzok on Sept. 2, 2016, about prepping Comey because "potus wants to know everything we're doing." According to a newly released Senate report, this text raises questions about Obama's personal involvement in the Clinton email investigation.

In texts previously revealed, Strzok and Page have shown their disdain for Republicans in general, as well as Trump, calling him a "f---ing idiot," among other insults.

Among the newly disclosed texts, Strzok also calls Virginians who voted against then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's wife for a state Senate seat "ignorant hillbillys." (sic)

I think the original article I posted from Fox was referencing the Hillary thing, and considering the timeline for these text, that would seem correct.  Maybe they haven't gotten to the text yet from when Strzok and Page were working for Mueller.

Yes, Fox is talking about the text "potus wants to know everything we're doing" and says according to the senate report this raises questions on Obama's involvement in Hillary e-mail investigation. But the actual senate report says this is a DoJ belief.

 

WSJ claims the timeline of events does not conform with email Hillary investigation since there was no active investigation in Aug/Sept and the text exchange was about Russia election meddling. Sept 2 texts were just 3 days before the Obama/Putin meeting at G20 Hangzhou summit, where Obama later in Dec 2016 said they talked about the election interference.

I think right around that they started looking at his laptop for the sexting scandal. But the Johnson report says Sept 28 was the day Strzok wrote to Page "“Got called up to Andy’s earlier ... hundreds of thousands of emails turned over by Weiner’s atty to sdny, includes a ton of material from spouse. Sending team up tomorrow to review... this will never end...”
