Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the new website @starsky I created an account and got to see an update on my case, which is currently "We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case".

My turn has come!  I received a notification at 5.30pm CST yesterday that my card is in production and approved. It was such a relief to see the notification come in. I received a text first, then an

checked the status of my case on both websites - no updates. Since filing for my first green card I have moved across the country and obviously have a different local office now and would have been a filer at VSC had I not moved. My speculation is that since I have changed the location the biometrics appointment would not be waived for me. Curious if someone has done the same and did get their biometrics appointment waived (at least according to the updates online).

So I made an account at the new USCIS setup website.  After having to bleed a goat over a bed of fresh arugula, conquer Pac-Man with a perfect score and spinning around naked 10 times while crying and punching myself in the face, I finally got to input my 77-digit password with no less than 35 special characters, none of which can repeat.  After doing all that, I've learned that my case hasn't changed since I submitted anything, which I also knew before I had to split my soul into seven Horcruxes for the info.  It's seriously that bad to make an account there.  And if I lose my one time login password or accidentally don't capitalize a letter on one of the 42 personal questions which you must answer ALL of, I have to defile myself in front of no less than 10 FBI agents while they throw popcorn at me. 

 

It's going to be a long wait.

I'd like to share my experience very quick.

Because I just came back from outside of USA before I did finger print ( I didn't even get the letter about my finger print).

It was very simple.  I saw the officer at the window at the SFO airport without doing Kiosk/machine checking first.

Maybe this is all different by the case or airport. Not sure about that.  Anyhow,  It wasn't worry something at all.  ;)

From  K1 visa, married to an American citizen, is it 3 years from the date of marriage or 3 years from getting the 2 year conditional green card, anybody?

Informed Delivery tells me that there is a letter from USCIS in the mail today. I'm sure its just a reminder letter (Today is the official last day of my green card) However I want it to be a biometrics appointment hahaha.

Informed delivery tells me I have something coming in the mail today too! But my husband's green card expired three months ago and we already got that reminder letter several months ago.... So I really wonder what it is.... :blink: I'm glued to the mailbox today
