Yes, it's been really quiet here this week. I've been checking my mailbox everyday and each time I've been disappointed even though I have at least maybe 2 weeks more if Vermont keep up their pace. :P

All pretty quiet in here. I've not had to update our tracking table since the start of the week which is kinda disappointing. -_-

I see from my USPS informed delivery that I have a letter from USCIS that is coming today. It's hard to make out the senders zip code but from what I can make out it looks to be from the Kansas City, Missouri field office. I don't want to start too much speculation, so will wait until it drops in the mailbox before reporting back. It was stamped on 3/27. Would seem odd to me to be a biometrics appointment when others haven't had theirs unless California has cleared their backlog in one swoop. Stay tuned!

Seems like for the January 2018 filers, most of the VSC people have their notices, while the first CSCer just had their biometrics appointment this week.  That CSC person was a late filer, January 26th with the bio appointment on 3/27, but got their notice before anybody else did.  I kind of have a hard time seeing the 35+ people that filed CSC before them not updating their statuses at all.  It's a very odd situation.  The wait time for VSCers still seems to be 6-8 weeks on average.

From December 2017, only about half of CSC filers got their bio appointments, but it's hard to tell if everyone is active there or not.  Their most recent CSC person was over a month ago, so it does seem like things are working toward February eventually.  I'd say we start getting CSC notices for our group in the next week or two.  Just still keeping fingers crossed that it won't affect our vacation in the next two weeks cause delaying the biometrics would suck.

And just like that, the thought that this was my biometrics appointment was crushed. It was my 120 day reminder to file I-751 that had gone to my old address, returned to sender, and then back out to me at my new address. USPS stuck a label on there with my new address, so at least USCIS did the good deed of forwarding it on.

The same situation. When I checked my mailbox today, saw mail from USCIS and thought it was somwthing good news like 10 yr GC(wishful thinking).. But it was 120 day reminder sighhh.. We moved out of Florida to Pennsylvania.

They don't give you a lot of advance notice of the appointment, do they? Good for you, another Vermont filer. I am starting to wonder if it will be a whitewash vs. the California filers.

Hoping for good news this week, guys!

So we braved the 3 hr drive and got there at 0900.  The officer said they would not be able to fit us in because they had 94 appts scheduled.  She advised us to mail the notice back in and request a reschedule.  I said well given the work situation, we had to risk the 3 hr drive.  She seemed surprised that we drove that far and looked again at his notice.  She then said oh you came from Alabama, and told us to come back at 2pm.  We walked the town some and ate, then got back at 1:40pm.  We were done in 10 min.  I'm so glad she changed her mind.

For some reason quoting doesn't work on my phone right now but I wanted to say I am so happy for you and your husband @Farrieress! So glad she took the time to listen to his situation and saw that you had travelled so far and was able to accommodate you. :)
