I-751 February 2018 Filers

Since I'm a late CSC filer for Feb I booked our Hawaii tickets today at a great deal.  Held off on booking because I thought we'd be getting CSC biometric notices during the time we planned on being gone.  Well it's been almost two months in the early Feb 2018 filers cases and no biometrics for any CSCers yet, so I decided to just book the trip and enjoy life instead of being mad at USCIS every day for being backed up.

Now the hardest part will be waiting the next two weeks to leave.

We received the letter for the biometrics appointment this past week. Stated that the appointment will be on 3/27.

Thanks for confirming.

Hi everyone

any ideas why my NOA 1 for removing conditions number starting WAC doesn't work when I try to add my case to my online USCIC acount?

Others have a similar issue and this does seem to be sporadic as to the reasons why. It could be that your case has not been fully entered into the system or is being worked. Most are saying not to panic, that it is fairly common, especially if you have already received NOA1.

Another one for Vermont. Added to the tracking table.

Hi! So sorry for late upadate on my case. I just received my NOA1 yesterday. They have to remail because they wrote the wrong address for me. I just called them last week! Thank you!

Good news for you, a little worrying they got your address wrong, though.

Received biometrics letter today, appt. Is 04/03/18.  Husband's work has a holiday on 04/02/18.  I kinda want to try a walk in, but scared to risk a 3 hour drive for nothing.  We both have to work on the 3rd, so we'd both be missing work.

Anyone know if the 2nd of April is a holiday for USCIS?

I doubt USCIS is closed for April 2nd, they seem to only recognize common public holidays. 6hr roundtrip I totally understand your resistance. It's a risk, for sure, but plenty of people have been seen when they turn up and take their chances.

Still waiting for our first California biometrics appointments... either they are slacking off or folks are slow notifying the group. Vermont is pulling ahead with an enviable lead.

April 2nd is not a federal holiday so they will most likely be open.

Did our bio-metrics today at VSC.  It took all of 10 minutes.  Appt. was at 9AM, we got there at 8:45 and were done at 8:55AM.  Now I'm wondering what the average wait time is from bio to interview??  I will update when we receive it.  Good luck everyone.

Congratulations!. Same as mine. Notice date is 3/17 and app is 4/3.

By the way, what is the code on your app letter and how many application number on it?

The code is 5. Does that have any meaning? My application # starts with EAC and is the same number as on my NOA.

This is explanation  about the code I saw when google it

"Code 1 is for fingerprinting of all 10 fingers. This is electronically sent to FBI the same day, they run it to match thru their database to match it with criminals/persons of interest and send the results the same day (or the next) to USCIS. Code 1 is very important as it is part of your security/background check and determines admissibility for GC. Code 1 expires after 15 months e.g. FBI needs to check their database again.

Code 2 (right index finger only+photo+sign) is for the generation of cards for immigration benefits e.g. EAD, GC etc. If you filed for EAD, you definitely need code 2 or the card can not be generated. Code 2 is done everytime we apply for a benefit.

Code 3 (fingerprinting all 10 fingers+photo+sign) is a combination of both, when USCIS wants to get a security check done on you as well as generate card.

With Code 5 the difference is that USCIS they scans only 4 right-hand fingers.
When asked USCI9S confirmed at the ASC that "this is the new requirement of USCIS and has started since the last couple of months"

Seems something changes from the process, now only have one application number, not two anymore.
