Congrats! So according to the table, it was dated exactly one month after your NOA. That's a good data point for usat the VSC center.

Congratulations! Just wonder what reciept and notice date on your NOA? And do you see two different number on your bio app letter as somebody said? Currious and waiting mine coming soon.

I mailed my I751 application last Feb 1st then they received it on Feb 5th and NOA was dated Feb 6th and received it Feb 10th. My biometrics letter which I just received it this morning and was dated march 10th. My bio appt is on March 27th.

I think those 2 different numbers are the application/petition/request number which starts with EAC then the other number is your uscis number or A#.

I believe the @LinaHugo was asking for the receipt number. Our NOA1 receipt number starts with WAC (Not EAC - EAC was when we were applying for our GC). From reading other links, I gathered it was supposed to start with CRI but others' (from Dec and Jan filers) receipt number didn't change.

It's rather unusual that they took long to cash the check and send us the NOA1 but then again it's been a waiting game throughout this process from day one. However, I have theory that this delay was due to my wife changing her last name. Her current 2 year GC has her maiden name but this time around when we applied for her ROC we requested to change her name to take my last name. The NOA notice now reflects her new name. I believe they first updated their system to reflect the change hence why it took a while for us to get a response from them.

I suspect, as you say, your case went for extra verification. At least you have received your NOA and all is good. I've updated our tracking table to reflect that.

Awesome. I got your message that the appointment is on March 26. For most of us, it should be April and early May for those later February filers. These letters should be coming thick and fast over the next few weeks. Exciting times!

I believe WAC stands for Western Adjudication Center and EAC stands for Eastern Adjudication Center. Also WAC is old name of CSC and EAC is old name of VSC. I think there are some forms they are still using old name instead of new name. Did you change your living place after you got GC?

question about the biometrics

1) Can your spouse come with you? or should you go alone?

2) Can you bring your child?

I have just received my biotmetrics for the vermont center on 3/27 but I'm not sure how to update that list, thank you

Just talked to my friend that I mentioned in one of my first posts, the one that filed her ROC last year (march 2017) and she said she contacted USCIS for an update on her case. She received a letter confirming that as of March 4th of this year (a year after she filed) they just begun looking at her file and that it should take up to 180 days for her to receive her permanent GC in the mail. The person she spoke to at the USCIS hotline suggested that she made an infopass at the Chicago location to get another extension letter to the conditional GC. I mean I don't know if this is an isolated case - I hope it is - but looks like the wait is getting longer and longer.

Question for the people who got biometrics letters already. What does your receipt numbers say about the case online when you look it up? Most of ours are still stuck at "Fingerprint Fee Received". If yours is updated, please let us know what it says so those of us who don't have one yet can keep an eye out. Thanks.

I also just noticed something about our I-797. On the letter in the Petitioner and Beneficiary category, it has the same person listed (my wife). This seems normal since she is the one that is applying for RoC and would also be the beneficiary of it. Correct me if I'm wrong though, as we triple checked all our forms and just now checked our own copy we kept and it is all on the up and up.
