Timeline

Thank you guys for replying.  Since,  my spouse and myself are extremely busy with regular work and  part-time business - I'm leaning towards hiring attorney for paperwork & follow-ups with USCIS on case.

But this forums and threads helps you to put on ease once you read others time-line too + I get to check on my attorney work too.  Keep up good work guys!

Looks like the VSC has slowed down considerably in the latter half of the month. A relief to know I'm not the only one who hasn't had their check cashed/received an NOA1 yet.

I read that once you file ROC (which is easily taking 1year+) - while in meantime your Citizenship window opens too. Both cases I-751 & N-400 get stacked if you end up filing N-400 causing further delay in I-751 approval, resulting in USCIS to focus only on N-400 and skip I-751 approval. Is this true?

Received NOA1 in the mail. Is it not supposed to have an expiration date itself for the one year extension?

As of today, we are a bit concerned that our check has not been cashed nor have we received the NOA. VSC did receive our documents on 2/26 signed by A.SCOSS. Since then we haven't heard anything. :(

Received our I-797 in the mail today as well.  We truly are connected on our timelines.  I usually come to dread Fridays as I have to work double weekend shifts, but today has been nothing but good news for me :)

I wouldn't worry too much.  My document was received on 2/23 but it wasn't cashed until later the next week.  I bet you'll have the check cashed and you letter in the mail sometime next week.
