Did you go in early in the day?  I'm planning to do try a walk in too.

I went in mid morning and they were fine with it, there was no queue and they were very friendly!

My case was received at CSC on 2/20/18 and I haven't heard anything until now and I finally got biometrics notice!!! Notice date was 6/14 and biometrics appointment is on 7/2. However USCIS website(old&new both)is not updated yet. It is still showing "Unable to provide my information" or "Case was received on 2/20/18". I hope I can get my green card before my extended green card is expired(9/30) but I am not sure it is possible..

I am in the same situation. I haven't seen any updates since I filed last year and it doesn't say anything online even though I had my biometrics done on june 28th. While waiting for updates I have filed for N400 and had the biometrics appointment 2 weeks after filing. It seems like the naturalization process takes less time

Hello guys just an update.

I filed for i-751 back in February 10th 2018, l to Vermont and a year later my Case was transferred to Texas. Few days before my case was transferred to Texas I applied for N-400.

Yesterday I got a notification stating that my case was transferred again to another office, letter was sent. When I call the customer service line it doesn’t specify which office. I hope is the local office, and my combo interview can be scheduled. This wait is driving me crazy. At the end of next month I have a trip planned for a week to Asia and fingers crossed no interviews will be scheduled for that time.

Hey we are in the exact same situation! I applied n400 few days before they transfer my case to Texas, then two days ago they messaged me saying it was transferred again, I called they told me they don’t exactly know where my case went, but they did submitted a inquiry for me

Hello guys, Happy Independence Day!!!

I received my card on 6/8, sorry for the late updates!

I think mine took much longer because I moved and filed for change of address and the case was transferred to Texas office.

And also, I traveled to Dubai using my expired green card with extension notice letter, and I had no problem with it.  It was a bit stressful because the Dubai airport staff did not know what that extension letter meant, so he took it to his supervisor and I freaked out for 2 mins.  It was fine and I had no problem re-entering the U.S.  However, my global entry did not work at the kiosk, so I went to an immigration officer (and went into that scary little room), and showed her all my documents.

She was really nice and told me to update my global entry once my new green card is issued and that was it.  The whole thing took less than 5 minutes and I was very thankful.

I hope this helps.

Have a happy long weekend :)

@ThisIsCat

I just called the customer service this morning and asked about my case status. As I expected, it's all the same answers. My case is still in the process, case status has shown in error on the website is common to any applicants ( don't know why they don't fix), No typo on the case numbers or current address, No biometric. and so on. Nothing has changed yet.

They sent the request for the biometric notification, so within 15 days, I will find out why I haven't received yet. We need to call the customer service and make an appointment for the InfoPass 30 days prior to the 18 extension letter expiration date if we don't get approvals by then.

I hope you and other applicants who have the same situation like me will get the result ASAP.

Thanks for the update! I really appreciate it. I’ve been getting more and more worried the closer we get to the extension letter expiration date. Hoping the process goes quickly and smoothly for all of us!

Many congrats on the approval! Question on your global entry, I didn't realize you could "update" it. I've been thinking about getting that as we travel quite a bit, was just thinking I would have to go through the process again once my 10 year GC was approved and then again once I got citizenship. Do you get to update it again once you're a citizen do you know?

So sorry your approval process is stretching out - can only imagine your frustration. Hope you do not have to go through the infopass process.

Updated tracking table below. We're in this together until the end; to all of those who are still waiting, we're rooting for you guys.

Finally heard something from DHS 🎉 I have my biometrics appointment on the 16th. Both web portals still showing unable to update/case received. This is the first contact I've had since applying other than the 18m extension.

Timeline

So as we feared, we got an appointment notice for biometrics and it falls within the middle of our trip.

If we reschedule, does anyone know about how long it takes them to reschedule, and about how far out it goes? For example, if we check the box and mail it in this upcoming week, and they get it Friday, will they just push it back 2 weeks or something? Also just kind of trying to time this because there's also some work commitments that I'm worried it will overlap with that I can't miss / reschedule.

@starsky Thank you. I know there are a few of us still waiting on our status change. We will need to stay strong!

Have you applied to US citizenship?
