Good Luck to everyone who is still waiting. This is mind boggling that even Feb 2018 petitioners are still waiting on the first response from USCIS. I'm June 2018 filer and I've been lurking around few different forums. This system really tests the patience of people

Right?!  Especially watching some June filers getting approved. We are March and clearly there are still Feb filers who haven't been touched. We weren't even transferred or anything. We filed and stayed with CSC so I think we have just always been super unlucky with getting our file assigned to adjudicators who are working slowly or away on vacation, lol.  It was the same for us with K1 and again for AOS.  We were the ones left waiting months after our group was approved.

It does help to know we are not alone. In a weird sort of way there is comfort in knowing it's not just us.

I had my N400 interview appointment yesterday while my i751 was still pending. After getting there and doing the routine, the officer called my name. My husband was with me and we had prepared for both i751 and N400 interviews. The officer asked my husband to give her the driving license and asked him to stay in the waiting room and she will call him if needed.

She started by asking about our relationship (how we got to know each other? how many siblings he has? what is his birth day? where have you lived? etc.). She asked for few documents as well (our lease, tax returns, car insurances). After that, she said will move on to the n400 interview. She did the typical questions (application, civic test, and english test). Then we gave me the approval form for citizenship. She said I have to eventually submit my recommendation of approval for your i751 and then N400. Since that will take time, we cannot do the oath ceremony today.

We got home and both of the cases were approved. My oath ceremony is scheduled for july 11th. I hope that I can get my US passport in time so I can travel and visit my family in summer.

Overall experience was very good besides the fact that we are all nervous. The officers were very professional and polite.

Good luck to everyone!

congrats! that was fairly quick between filing n400 and getting interview/approved. This gives me hope. What was your estimated wait time on the site for the n400?

This was a post I was waiting for: another person from a country on the "ban list". My wife is from Yemen and we have been slightly concerned that given the new security regime in place (which may or may not be different than the previous one, no one knows for sure) that her I-751 and N-400 applications would be delayed and/or she'd be "CARRP'ed". That you seem to have had a smooth process is comforting.

Fr8dog, when is your interview? How much notice did they give you?

About 6 weeks, it's scheduled for the end of July. There go the vacation plans.

So got the letter last Saturday.

Got an email monday stating nothing new to report.

Old site shows Recieved RFE and we are processing

New site shows we recieved your finger print fees.

Yep, it's a fun journey.

After getting an RFE in Feb 2019, I sent more evidence (a lot more)  back by the deadline of May 9th , which they have acknowledged.

I then received a letter last week with a new appointment for 12th July for more biometrics, even though they said they were reusing mine from before (AOS) I'm thinking that they can only reuse biometrics up to a certain date!

I was in Jacksonville for the day on business, so I though I would try a walk in,  they allowed me to and did my biomertics in less than 15 minutes no problem, so that hopefully will bring my approval closer, please wish me luck.

BTW where are you Starsky, I was hoping you would update the table !

It stated "not providing enough evidence" when you read what they did recieve, it was all stuff from the AOS and nothing from the ROC. In other words, appears like the lost part of the file during the transfer.

Easy for everyone else to say it as we aren't the ones going through it. I hope you can muscle the strength to continue in the process and not let it defeat you. Wish you all the best.

So everyone especially Starksy who does our table, today I was very excited to get a letter from USCIS, thinking it would be the approval after submitting more evidence after receiving  a RFE in Feb 2019.

But no my wait goes on, they want me to do a  biometrics again ( July 12th)  which I find strange as I already had a letter stating they were reusing my biometrics from before.

Starksky please update table with a new column....lol 😡

It begs belief what is going on with your case. They are really putting you through the mill. So sorry you're having to deal with this headache. I recently completed biometrics for N-400 and I was in and out in 45 mins, but I did read you're a lot further away. These places can be dotted all over, it took me a good 30 minutes each way to get where I was going. If N-400 is your goal, perhaps you won't have to do it again then?? :)

Definitely not alone, there are many folks here in similar situations. Next year I am sure you'll be able to enjoy your anniversary doing anything you want to and with the full liberty you're headed towards.

Woah! Super fast. Congrats. I filed in May. My estimate says October 2020. But I do hear that Houston is one of the busiest and backed up locations in the entire country. N-400 is a different "waiting" than I-751. I remember all too well how you guys that are still waiting felt.

I'm not tracking any updates being needed to our table. If there's any that I've overlooked let me know. Those with recent approvals congrats and if you aren't on the table at this point, sorry about that.

@lululola @hrkk @Tween @SSKK @nusshaf14 @molongoque any updates on you guys?

Thanks Starsky that was really a quick reply, cheers you always seem to cheer me up whilst I'm waiting, I actually think that now I did that walk in it won't be long for approval. And another thank you for your work on the table.

@Tween any updates on you guys?

Not a peep :( still stuck on "at this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case." Not even heard about biometrics.

I think you were lucky to be seen early. When I went for my biometrics for N-400 they were turning people away just for being an hour early.

No. Nothing has changed from the beginning. Old site still says "cannot provide your information". New site is still "Case received" status. I've been checking every day like others who have the exactly the same situation as mine.

Sorry to hear that guys. Hoping things change for you next week! Can't be much longer now.
