Regarding the problem that people are having inputting the receipt number they get off the NOA1 for I-751. I think it doesn't work until you get the biometrics appointment letter, it's all in the small print!!!

Paragraph 5 on the NOA1 I-797 states " Upon receipt of your ASC appointment notice, you can find the status of your case online at www.uscis .gov.

To view the status of your case enter the application number found at the top of the ASC appointment notice.. "

We mailed our I-751 package yesterday 2/27. Looks like it's supposed to be delivered 3/1. Not sure if that makes me a February or March 2018 filer haha. Anyway, now we wait...

We will gladly accept you here. Where did you file? Vermont or California? Don't forget to update your timeline so that it helps others with similar timings: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=201166

Hi!

we have sent ours on 02/21 and it was delivered to Cali service center on 02/27.

Mailing times are longer for us cause we are military and stationed in Germany so we use our APO address. We sent a cashiers check so we can’t track if it is cashed or not. Our money is already gone lol I’m hoping to receive NOA1 in about 2 weeks. Can you please add us to the list as well?

Thanks and good luck to yall

Done. Good news the money has already left your account, your NOA should be just around the corner. Good luck!

I think USCIS is covering themselves with that statement. I can track my case online and through the app. It shows when it was last touched and what the current status is. I am hoping that I'll get a notification once the biometrics appointment is set, but let's wait and see. Bottom line, don't panic if your status isn't trackable yet, especially if you are in receipt of your NOA already.

With it being March already, we should just about have most of our February filers here and being tracked. Let me know if there are others still waiting to be added here.

Starksky Interesting that you can input your case number online, I can't yet, maybe i'll try the App, and thanks for doing this table for Feb 2018 filers, feel I've got company while going through the process!

I suppose we are all waiting for that Biometrics letter to arrrive now, I'm not too bothered though as I have that extension letter in my hand!

Does anyone know how often they update processing times? CSC is currently working on petitions from September 2016 and Vermont January 2017. So Vermont is 4 months ahead of CSC :o

I'm new to forum - I'm guessing everyone here file I-751 on their own without hiring Attorney? My ROC window open in  Mid-April 2018, really not looking forward to all waiting time with CSC. I hate to ask this repeated question due to legit concern.

How do we continue to work (specially if you change jobs), renew DL and travel abroad once LPR card expires? I'm guessing - no card is emailed while ROC (something we get AP / EAD card while I-485 is pending).

Sharin once you put in to remove the conditions on your conditional green card, if they accept your petition they send you a I-797 (Notice of Action) NOA1

On that notice is states that your conditional residence is extended for 1 year, during the extension you are authorized to work and travel, I hope that lessens your anxiety.

Hi all!  It looks like February filers are doing pretty well so I feel relieved.

I have a question about traveling overseas with I-797.

My GC expired at the end of February, and I received NOA on 2/19, extending my GC for 1 year.

1.  Is it safe to travel to Dubai/UAE with my expired green card and I-797 notice of action?

I know that it should be ok, if anything Dubai should be one of the safest places to travel, but I was still a little concerned...  For instance, I know that people who visited Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Sudan cannot obtain ESTA visa waiver program anymore (as of 2016 I believe...)

2.  About I-551 green card extension passport stamps, I think I am pretty sure that you don't apply for it unless your GC 1-year extension with I-797 is about to expire.  (In my case, that 1-year extension will expire in 2/2019, so if I applied for I-551, it should be sometime in 1/2019)  Am I correct?

Thank you so much for your support and help :)

I did everything myself, no attorney needed, from K1 to I-751 we did everything ourselves.

and for the working, after your forms and fees is accepted, you will receive a NO1 which is a year green card extension, in a letter form, you will use that to renew your driver’s license and get a job. Till you get your new card in mail which will come between 11-13 months.

Good luck and start preparing fast.
