My turn has come!  I received a notification at 5.30pm CST yesterday that my card is in production and approved. It was such a relief to see the notification come in. I received a text first, then an

Thank you. I filed I-751 02/09/2018 NOA1 date 02/13/2018. My interview was scheduled 04/15/2019 only for N400, but it was combo interview.

I finished civics, reading and writing tests first on one of the windows. Than I was waiting for about an hour until IO called my name. My husband was allowed to come with me inside. IO started with I-751, she asked questions from the form ( what is your legal name, your address...) than she switched to N-400 (again all questions from N-400). I had to change couple of things like address, my husband employer, etc. Than she gave me a paper and said that she will go through my submitted documents and I should have an answer by the end of week.  She asked if we have any Q for her so my husband said You didn't asked me anything. So she asked : How do you like your new wife? ( we have been together more than 7 years and my hubby got divorced 10 years before we met). 

I had bunch of documents with me, but she didn't want to see it.  I'm glad that this is over.

Most certainly it will be a combo. My case status for I-751 didn't change until 2 days after interview, when it was transferred to my local office, than it was transferred 2 more times, and from yesterday it shows Case was approved.

So we still haven't gotten any update (we get the period email notification). The 18 month extension will be up in mid-August. We're planning a trip to Canada mid-July (driving), so technically we're still covered under the extension letter.

 

I'm guessing however that we will need to schedule an info-pass appointment to get her passport stamped though, so I'm wondering does anyone have any experience/advice on that? When's the earliest we can do it and get it out of the way? I'm just concerned that we will have to cancel our trip in July over this, so like if we could get the stamp in June it'd be nice, but I have no idea what any of that entails. Anyone have any advice/tips/suggestions?

Sorry to hear you are still waiting! If your extension letter still has validity and you'll be back within it, no need to schedule an infopass prior to it. You will want to get it done as soon as you get back, though. Just maybe.. and hopefully, you'll have approval before then. I do wonder whether USCIS are aware of pending expiries and hurry them along as they draw closer?!

Hi all!
I filed I-751 on February 15, 2018 (Vermont office). I received two extension letters to my greencard, and on March 21, 2019 I received notification that my case was moved to Lee's Summit NBC. That's probably a consequence of the fact that on February 24, 2019 I filed the N-400...
Shall I expect an interview in the next months?
What happens if I don't get it before October (when the 18months extension to my green card is over)?

Hi,

mine is almost the same exact as yours. My n400 interview is already scheduled for mid June. Base on what I am reading our N400 interview will most likely be a combo interview. Check your local office processing time for N400.

@starsky this is AL135, i forgot my password for the forum AND forgot my password for the email address i used to register here 🤦🏻‍♂️

That’s why decided to create a new account with very similar name (used “i” instead of “l” for my display name) 😄

soooooo, I got good news guys! I checked my status in the morning today and guess what it says?!! 👇🏻

Finally!!!! The wait is over and i am sooooo relieved 😌 exactly 20 days after they updated my status to “Response to RFE was received” i got this message. Hang in there my fellow RFE friends! There indeed is a hope and the end is near🎉🎉🎉🎉

i will however apply for Naturalization this month, after i get my card. Thank you all for your endless support and i hope that our table will get 100% approved status very very soon!

@starsky could you please update the table? 😁 waited so long to be able to say this

Hi, I recently went to Canada and back with expired GC and extension letter, no problems at all. Travelled by air and needed eTA, also no problem. As someone said above, if you're back before extension letter expires, you won't need anything else. Good luck!

Hello everyone! First of all good luck to all! 

 

I filled my i751 February 2018. 

 

I received the last notice 2/21/2018 since then there is nothing i received other than 18 months of extension. According to the California service timing they are currently looking for  Nov 18 2017 fillers. 

 

should I wait till my filling time shown  which is February 2018? 

 

Is there someone else in the same situation?
