@starsky Unfortunately when I said our case was approved I had the wrong case number, so you can remove the date from our row in the table, as we're still in "Case was Received".

We're getting up to the point where we're going to have to go to a service center to get Danielle's passport stamped for travel, since the 18 month extension is up in August. Has anyone had an experience with this? How far in advance can we do this process?

One question to Xyuxue and Statsky or other when the case tracker said you card was delivered, my friend is at my place and said there is no card that has arrived?

Is this normal, I got the letter of approval which he sent me a pic of but no card yet is that normal ?

I am freaking out right now,

he said maybe Monday but then I won’t have it before flying back to the US

i thought delivered meant literally in my mail box but nothing.

:((

Sorry to hear that, although I bet you're just around the corner now! Let's hope it doesn't come to you having to go get an infopass appointment for a stamp, I'd have thought you would be approved long before August.

You should be able to see the tracking number on the notification, check this with USPS to see where it's being held. It's definitely normal to receive the approval letter 2-5 days before the card arrives. It's also possible that it says delivered but has been left in a mailbox, at the front desk of an apartment block or even held at a local PO. First thing I would do is track the package, you should be able to find the number in the USCIS.gov website in your account.

Hi, how is it going? When mine said "Delivered", I went back home and got it in my mailbox in the lobby. Like Starsky said, I would first make sure it is delivered in the USPS website.

However, I personally do not think this will create any trouble for you, since yours were approved while you were away. You literally did not know you could not travel without receiving the card when you were departing. I think you will be fine. Do not worry too much. I hope you enjoy the rest of the trip in Japan.

Finally! Some good news! After 98 and 96 days (Since I got 2 notifications that my case was transferred but I only got 1 hard copy - 04th February 19),  of being transferred to Nebraska from CSC, I woke up to this! And to some, no I did not file for N-400 yet.

Thus this brings me to my next question. We are going on a trip in Mid August.  Do you guys think I have ample time to do the biometrics, if I submit my application between end of May/ first week of June?

P.S. To those still in limbo, hang in there, you'll get it soon enough. And @starsky Thank you so much for  what you've done in this group

So I have a question to those who submitted their RFE package - does the status change after the service center receives the package? Mail was delivered on Saturday, but my status online has not changed from Request for Initial Evidence was mailed. Thank you for your answers!

I did not get a notification, but it did show up on the old website after several days. It shows they received it April 30th but it did not change till May 3rd (I think).

Woah! That's epic!! I've not heard of N-400s being processed that quickly. Were you originally a K1 fiance visa? One and done just like that... congratulations!!

@starsky thank you! I was originally on a student visa and adjusted from that, however many citizenship cases are moving very fast. In my N400 January filers thread some have already done the oath. It really depends on the local office. Meanwhile my oath has also been scheduled. I see the light at the end of the tunnel haha

I got the notice mine card is being produce after 98 days transferred from VSC to TSC

I passed N400 interview on 24th April. But the officer couldn't make a decision because of the pending I751. No more interview needed. Waiting for a written letter about my application and the oath.
