@Fr8dog Thank you for sharing your thoughts! They asked for all evidence as yours. I will include everything we have, however, my wife’s drivers license reads her parents address. (We never changed it). Dont know if we should do it, our the lease would be enough with both our names on it. I will get the letter from the insurance, but we never had a medical insurance and my jobs medical insurance didn’t kick in yet. I will include my 401K with her being a 100% sole beneficiary. You think the title, lease, car insurance, tax returns, bank statement, credit card statement and maybe an internet or t-mobile bill would be enough?

I would get the drivers license changed and include it. We all tend to overlook a very basic thing. We proof that the immigrant lives at an address, but forget to proof that the USC lives there as well, kind of a vital one. Photo's can be photocopied (don't worry I hate photos as well)

Your route should be "official", "somewhat official". "most likely real" "easy enough to be a fake".

IRS, state tax, state documents, school documents etc are the best

Financial institutions, insurance companies, lease documents are next

Phone bills, utility bills are after that

magazine subscriptions, affidavits, photo's are the last.

They do not all have to be in both your names. You can also combine phone in your name, phone in her name but both at the same address.

To the questions about whether I will file N-400, the answer is yes. I resisted the urge to file it already as I'd just like to wait until I have the card physically with me before I do. Being located in Houston, I hear that I am in for a very long wait, so while I realize I am 4 months behind where I could have been, I still don't regret waiting to file N-400. I am less fussed about waiting for N-400. The scrutiny while traveling (yes, it depends where you go) was the main "stress" of being in limbo waiting for ROC.

 

Updated tracking table is below. CSC is now at 75% approval, with VSC at 46%.

HI everyone,

specifically Starsky, I had my RFE back in early February, and I decided not to get stressed about it since I have plenty of time to return the additional evidence, (the deadline is May 9th) 

I have been working steadily on compiling what they need which was evidence of co-mingling finances, I thought my original submission was enough but obviously not, so my additional submission is mainly bank statements from both our bank accounts and the joint bank account from day to day for a period of our marriage until now ( December 2015 - April 2019). These are day to day transactions and I have highlighted major purchases from us both, into the same household.

I am also getting an affidavit from my mother in law (notarized)  and have my name put on the house deeds.

At the moment my package is about 2"-3" in height,  so I am pulling out all stops to get approved and get this process finished. 

I shall be sending my package back in early May so wish me luck.

I got a little fun fact for ya'll. Apperently, after reading the RFE very, very thoroughly, the have either managed to loose my entire submitted evidence package, or they were not happy with it and threw it all out.

The list of "submitted evidence" on the RFE are all things I had submitted for the AOS (not all of it either) and nothing that I submitted for the ROC.

Tax returns, bills, statements. Nothing is there.

Truly concerning and stomach wrenching! I think @GBOS had said before that case workers are allowed to take case files home to work on, so I wonder if that is sometimes how documents get lost?

Thanks for the update. Sounds like you've been hard at graft! I echo your thinking of pulling all the stops out to get approved. You don't want to have to go through this process again. Definitely wishing you lots of luck!

@starsky - It is true they can take files home with them but they need to bring them back weekly.  What is clear here is that they do not have the process to catalog our submissions so when documents get lost, we are assumed to have not sent them in to begin with.  If the documents get all cataloged, it would force the officer to check the files under CCTV to prove that he/she only has what she has from the file.

 

When I filed my paperwork, I attached a summary sheet that lists everything in my file but seeing files after files are missing documents are truly concerning.

Talking about lost flies, when I was going through the K1 process in London, The embassy in London sent my whole massive K1 file and date for interview to a stranger elsewhere in London, a female ( I am male) with a totally different surname and totally different address in another part of London, good job she was honest, and contacted me to come and collect it, the amount of information in that file was ridiculous and once i retrieved it and reported it, they reacted like no big deal!!! Amazing, so nothing in this whole process surprises me anymore.

I know things happen sometimes and things get lost, but I find the amount of missing stuff currently happening interesting. It's like several boxes fell during the transfer and nobody was able or willing to figure out what goes with what.

I did, back in Feb.
