Hello everyone!

My case was received on Feb 27th 2018 and besides the 18 month extension letter I have no updates. If i check my status it says "we received your case" and that i don't have to do anything at this point. Anyone still in the same boat?

Same... I've called the customer service time by time. All what they say is to wait. I've been checking the online status every morning first thing I do when I get to my office.  Have you received Biometric appointment before 18 months extension notice?

I haven't received anything regarding biometrics. On the original uscis website and the case tracker app my receipt number is not even recognized, that's why I got a little worried.

Good news is that you are not alone. I haven't received any Biometric appointment, not even "Reuse it" notice. I get the message like "USCIS does not recognize your case number..." something like this on the original website. New one says the "Case was received" on feb 24 2018. No change at all.

I called the customer service about like one month ago, and they told me that they can see my case there. I'm not sure how reliable they are, but what can I do?

Thank you for replying. I called customer service too and they told me the same thing. Good thing our extesion letter is still valid. I have traveled out of the country without any problems so far. We'll jusy have to wait. Good luck

Woke up this morning to two emails from USCIS that they’d taken action on my case. I was transferred to NSC back in early February and not heard a peep since. I logged in and they had put my card into production and approved my case (in that order 🙄).

I DID apply for N-400 back in December, so I hope this gives others some hope that the wait will be over soon.

I'm in the same boat. Got my 18m extension but nothing about biometrics and nothing beyond "Your case was received" at myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov. Through the app I just get "Case Status" and "We are unable to provide an update" messages. I've entered and left the country several times on the 18m extension letter and never had any trouble tho.

Thank you for the feedback. It's good to know that there are many filers who have traveled with 18 months extension without any issue. I'll have to travel oversea this coming summer, so I hope I get this done by then.

Hi Starsky, I just wanted to update our information as it appears I forgot to.

We received the 18 month extension on 08/06/2018 and our case was transfered to Texas on 02/08/2019. If you could kindly update my status on the board it would be appreciated.

@ELJThanks for the info! I agree, at this point N-400 filing will not speed up the process so i will be patient and wait:)

hopefully we all will get an update soon

I filed N-400 after my case was transferred from California to Nebraska in February. Last week my I-751 got approved and last night I received my card. I don't think that filing N-400 will harm your I-751, at least that did not happen to me...but who knows. Good luck!

...and that's it for me! Received my green card in the mail yesterday :). Can't believe this long and expensive adventure is FINALLY over! I'm also really happy that I won't have to travel with those goddamn extension letters anymore and that I can renew my Global Entry.

I was quite surprised to see how "cheap" the new card looks compared to the temporary one. The colors are all faded on mine and the plastic feels flimsy.

Anyway, good luck to everyone who is still waiting, I hope you all receive it soon and it's truly been a pleasure being supported and surrounded by all of you during this process. The community here really made it all the more bearable :) . And special thanks to @starsky for creating and updating the approval table!
