May I point out that Vermont seems to be in reverse with California.

Cases transferred out of California seem to get processed slower than had it stayed.

Texas Service Center is a common denominator here though.  Texas seems to be moving files as they come in.  Nebraska just put them in a solitary confinement.

I have a question for those who have been approved the 10 year GC recently, has anyone of you received an email from Visa Journey  regarding the Visa Estimate before receiving the card production text / email? I received strange message saying that my estimate card arrival would be May 2016.  Just wanted to see.if any has  had the same experience.. 🤔🤔🤔

Hey Guys just curious,

So my I-751 was transferred to Texas from Vermont on Feb. 14 2019, and I see a lot of movement going on so hopefully the approval will come soon. My question is, I haven't submitted that many documents when I filed, but when I applied for N-400 I submitted way more showing assets that we have together. Will the officer that reviews the case also have access to N-400 application and all the documents and be able to make a decision if its necessary to send more documents or not?

I-751 and N-400, theoretically speaking, are processed separately.  I-751 is adjudicated by the Service Center, while your N-400 is adjudicated by a Field Officer at your local office.   An officer working on one file does not automatically have access to another file unless he/she specifically request your other files for review.  Now since you have already filed for N-400, two things can happen:

(1) Your I-751 may already be assigned to an officer and if that is the case, you "may" be receiving RFE or Approval from Texas prior to your N-400 interview.  If an officer feels that your I-751 file lacks evidence, he/she can issue an RFE and you will have to provide additional evidence, regardless of what you have submitted as part of N-400.  If I-751 is approved before your N-400, you will later go to the citizenship interview alone.

(2) Equally likely, NBC may get to your I-751 before it gets on to someone desk.  If this is the case, you will receive another notice that your file has been transferred from TSC to NBC.  If and when that happens, you will know for certain that you will have a combo interview with your spouse, at which time both I-751 and N-400 will be adjudicated by a Field Officer at the same time at your N-400 interview appointment, assuming that all evidence are satisfactory.

Yes, I got an email with the same estimate, but it was May 2019 not 2016. I'll take that if it turns out to be true :) but we know this thing is a lottery.

Good insights, thank you @GBOS!
