Just a moment ago, I received a text and email to say a new processing action was taken on my case. The email reads as below, but when I log-in to the OLD interface the same case transferred message appears (except Feb 4 is now Feb 6). The last updated date is today 2/27 rather than 2/4 as before. I am assuming that this simply means someone from USCIS touched my files, perhaps even transferred the case again, but as far as I know, my case is still in NBC after the first transfer on 02/04, despite it saying 2/6 as below.

Has anyone else had a similar notification? Or does anyone know what this may mean?

I got the same email. Got excited for nothing 😥

Hi guys. I have a question- my state ID expires soon (no driver's license) and I was wondering if it was really necessary to renew it right now. They'd only renew it for 6 months. Earliest appointments are in mid April/May. I really don't want to spend an entire day at DMV.

After an entire year of our status not updating on either the old or new USCIS sites, we JUST received a notification that the card was mailed on the iOS app!

Many congratulations! Awesome surprise to have late at night like that!

@starsky i haven't heard of this status update before, sounds very odd.  Is it possible it got sent to your local office for an interview?  I have heard from our USCIS officer in 2016 when we did our AOS interview that maybe 5% of I-751 cases go to interview.  The fact they are making you wait for the letter for more info makes me kind of think that way.  Just an opinion, either that or RFE.  Both bad thoughts but at least they did something.  I hope it is something easy to get going and get it approved quickly.

As far as I know, my case is still in NBC and hasn't moved. I already received the mailed "letter" they refer to in the email several weeks ago. It was just odd to me that; a) I received an email notifying action had been taken, yet; b) the only thing that changed was the date of the notice from Feb 4 to Feb 6. The only thing I am putting it down to is a system glitch, of which there appears to be many of those if you look at lots of other posts on VJ.

@starskyI received one early this afternoon too. The original date my case was transfered was Feb 4. Today, I received an email, text and from what was shown in the Case Tracker App that My case was moved again  but the date is now Feb 6. So I don't know if it's a glitch. But I do hope that we get some movement soon.

I think we were the few ones that got into the unlucky basket from WAC, as those who have filed either before us, or after us, have had some movement in their cases 😢😢😢

Yeah so there you go, we're in the exact same boat. Without knowing the circumstances of why we are 'seemingly' being treated differently it definitely feels like we're unlucky. I do have faith all will be well in the end, though.

Appreciate you confirming. That makes three of us with the exact same notification. Very weird! Please keep in touch when you see anything else happen.

The data has finally been published for Q4 2018 (June 1, 2018, to Setember 1, 2018) for USCIS.  You can view the full data at https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports and Studies/Immigration Forms Data/All Form Types/Quarterly_All_Forms_FY18Q4.pdf

I have attached a screenshot but the number is probably too small to see.

A positive news, assuming that the trend remains for Q1 2019 (October 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018).

I-751s (for the first 3Qs of 2018) have been adjudicated (out) at about 50% of new applications (in), and that is why the backlog has grown so large.  In Q4 2018, the adjudication rate increased significantly, and if the trend remains, the backlog will still increase but it will not be as bad as it was before.  So maybe we are looking at 15 months (current posted waiting time) going forward.

Received our RFE in the mail yesterday, it was dated February 25, 2019.  So get this - our RFE was because we didn't submit page 11 on the i751 form. Page 11 was for if you needed space for "Additional Information", which we didn't so we figured we didn't need to submit it. They requested that my husband initial next to each item and add "N/A" to each line. Mailing back the page today. Hopefully we hear some good news soon!

That's kind of ridiculous but also must be a relief! At least it's easy. ROC was the first time we didn't get an RFE that was along these lines, but our experience with the I-129F and AOS was that the approval came pretty quickly after we sent the evidence back.

My husband and I were racking our brains all week wondering what else we could send them, as we sent them everything we could think already. We are very relieved it is something simile as this, but also think how crazy that they are requesting that all at the same time. We received an RFE with our AOS, as they lost our passport photos - after we resent them we were approved in 8 days. Hoping for the same with this, let's hope for smooth sailing ahead. :)

I guess if they really need you to send more evidences, as my lawyer helped me with the I-485 and I-130 before (I was asked to send more proof after we left the interview room), he told me to send a Power of Attorney, phone calls between us, text message, anything we post on Social Media, etc.

1. We sent Power of Attorney

2. I used Tmobile, so I log in to my Tmobile account and print out the calls and texts activities of everymonth (it shows what time, which date you contact each other). The whole things I print out is almost 200 pages.

3. Social Media post: my husband not use any Social Media, but I do. And sometimes I post fun stuffs about him online to share with my friends, so I just take screenshots of those posts and print out to send them.

I got my green card 2 weeks later after I sent those to USCIS.

I guess, form I-751, they may ask for the same things.

05/19/2016: Interview

04/19/2018: Delivered to California Services Center

06/29/2018: Received 18-months extension letter

02/28/2019: Approved Fingerprint

08/16/2019: Case Transferred & New Office has Jurisdiction

Thank you for posting this. i sent a whole bunch of printscreens from both of our facebooks. i had no idea what to send for more evidence but alot of people here gave me some great ideas. i ended up sending a copy of our insurance and something from the hospital where we are both next of kin. i also attached a few video testimonies from my family members and a few other documents. hopefully that is enough:)
