I'm assuming California Service Center?

Hi Everyone today we received an request of more evidence for our marriage. for the ones that received that letter how long after more documentation did you hear back from uscis? Im a little worried because the house is only under my name since we didnt have her green card at that moment they wouldnt allow me to add her to my loan.. i have her in my bank. she has her own insurance thru her job and i go thru mine. i have her as my beneficiary for my life insurance. we have lived in this house for 3 years together. my drivers license i have it at my parents house since when i renewed i was in the process of buying a home. when i tried to change the address they told me at the dmv not to do it. so i never did. they said its unnecessary.. the vehicles are under my name since i have stablished credit. our insurance for cars are together. im not sure what else to submit i sent a whole lot of pictures with my family sister parents etc trips together our taxed etc and bank statements.. im at a loss:(

Now that she has her green card, you can add her to the home deed (Lookup Quitclaim deed; it is pretty easy to do. File it with the County, and that is it).  You can also add her to the car registration too.  I would send more financial stuff (based on many letters I have seen posted here by many VJ members).  More recent bank statements and new tax documents (if you have filed already this year).  Create a simple healthcare power of attorney and last will.  You can do most of these by Googling documents and get them notarized.

Do not send anything you have already sent in.

Don’t be too worried.  You will be fine.

That is true, if you have a lien on your car, you cannot add her without refinancing, that is true.

But hopefully you make a car payment from the joint account and you can type up an explanation to point that out to them.  These are people too, I trust they are reasonable.

we only have our checking and savings jointly and we make both of the car payments thru the account and also we both get direct deposit to the same account.

Clearly - I am not working for USCIS, but I have seen many people getting asked for more “co-mingling” financial stuff all the time.

USCIS doesn’t seem to care for pictures too much. I think it makes sense that these days technology can help you create whatever you want to you as pictures, or worse even video.

You should update your DL to match and send a copy in too.

Was ur DL and her DL in the same address when you sent your ROC  application? Try adding each other on health insurance and anything that can show both names . Me and my husband did that b4 we sent our application . We made sure that our address, bank account , health insurance, and my car was in both our names .

I googled the CA DMV website to see about change of address and you're correct, they will not reissue a new license, but they will change the address on their records.  I'm wondering if you do the online change of address if you are able to download a verification from the DMV showing the new address.  In FL where we live they issue a new ID/License.  If you have a Real ID/License you must visit the DMV in person to process the change.  Regarding her not being on the mortgage  you might explain why she isn't to USCIS.  Someone mentioned a Quit Claim Deed so you may want to pursue that, too.  Things will work out so try not to worry too much about it.  When we applied for the conditional Green Card we had to re do the fingerprints twice because the FBI couldn't read them and then at the interview had my wife had to swear that she was who she said she was because they still were unable to read her fingerprints.

When I check my case status on the DHS website, if I search other cases, it shows next to some of them what type of a case they are, some i-129f, some i-751etc  and there is nothing next to mine. How do I change it to show that mine is i-751?

I don't think there is a way to change it, unfortunately.   Ours has just been showing "CASE STATUS" since February of last year and doesn't  list the type as i751.

Thank you :)

Same here, just CASE STATUS and nothing else.

I'm glad to see all these approvals, hope that means it will be our turn soon :)
