Hi Everyone! I been seeing so many posts about transfers! I am literally right behind all of you, so I cringe daily that we might hear the same news. I don't understand why the service centers have people wait for almost a year without any news to just transfer a case. Why not do it sooner? Anyway - my main question for all you guys that heard of your transfer or approvals, did you receive notice via text or email if you were signed up for those alerts OR did you just receive your letter in the mail without any notice? I am signed up on the old and new USCIS site for text and email alerts but I still check the site daily to see of any new activity lately. Just curious if the site updated. Hopefully good news for all soon! :)

P.s. Happy Valentines Day!

I first got a “no-reply” email that says “We have taken an action on your case.” I checked the old website and it says “My New Card Is Being Produced”.  Few minutes later, my husband received a text and an email too that an action has been made on the case and that we should go to the USCIS and check it.

The new website didn’t update until 2 days later.

I’m currently waiting for the letter to arrive in the mail.

Hi Alienrj187

I sent in everything you can imagine, we have been living in the same address since I first got here on the K1 visa, we have 2 cars with both our names on, life insurance, property taxes, 3 years worth of tax returns (married filing jointly), bank accounts, driving licences, 4 x affidavits from friends, payslips  etc, etc............unbelievable they want further evidence!

Don't be surprised if they ask for something you already submitted.

Did you send in the actual IRS transcripts or just your tax forms?  Lease or mortgage documents?

So true, gregcrs2 that would be typical...., just impossible to work out this immigration process and their logic

Sorry this happened to you :( We've been RFEed twice. Both times it wasn't through any fault of ours. For the I-129F, it was the letter of intent from my wife, which we'd sent with the original packet and had obviously just been lost (the AOS was a mistake on the doctor's part in London when they filled out the form for the K1). It wouldn't surprise me at all if they ask you for something you already sent. Fingers crossed, at least, because I can't imagine what else they would want!

Hi everyone, especially Starsky (so you can update your table) (CSC

Today I will receive a RFE dated Feb 9th. I can't believe they want more evidence, I already gave them loads, has anybody else on here from the original filers got one of these yet??

When you get it, let us know what the RFE says. Sometimes they just want clarification on some things, like only sent one or two months of bank account statements instead of one every quarter for the last two years.

Note that they want evidence spanning the entire time, so not just one or two months worth of something, but any proof that would cover a majority of the two years. So bank or credit card joint statements every quarter for two years, two years of some kind of living agreement, the loan agreement or title is the best thing to send for the ownership of the cars.

So if you only sent a statement for something for like two months in 2016 and two months in 2017 and nothing in 2018, they may ask for more.

You said you don't have a mortgage but you pay property tax? Did you send a copy of your houses title with both of your names on it?

If there's literally nothing else you can send them, or they are asking for double things. You can write a statement as to why you can't provide X,Y,Z or a statement that it was sent in the original package but that you will provide an updated copy/info for them.

From what you put as your evidence in the prior post, I wouldn't consider that -loads- of evidence. It's a fair bit of evidence, but not loads unless there's more than what you put.

Ugh.

It's been expected since last year to take at least a year, especially once the issues hit CSC in early April.

Just received notification that our case has been transferred to another USCIS office that has jurisdiction over it. I assume that means Nebraska but will have to see the letter to be sure. Significant though in that our case was at Vermont so maybe things are starting to move there now.

Our first Vermont filer transferred. Thanks for confirming!

Vermont filer, only I751 pending. Got the email. MYUSCIS account shows only Feb 2018 status. Guess we will find out shortly

On February 13, 2019, your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number EAC************, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by................

Starsky, time for an extra column again I think :)

Got it! Pleased you got some activity on your case, even if its a transferred notification like some of us in California! T hanks for the update.

Hello everyone!

I’m pretty late to the party. I my I-751 was received on 2/7/18 at VSC, did my biometrics 3/26/18, received the 18 month extension in August 2018, and today got the notification that my case was being transferred to another office.

I read in the thread that there was some time limit with drivers licenses, can anyone give me more information about it? I’m planning on getting my license early March, but now I worry I might not get it or they’ll give me a hard time.

Also, does anyone know if we have to share the extension letter and later the new GC with our current employers?

Welcome to the thread. So I can properly log your data in the below table, please give me the date of your NOA1. If that was 2/7/18 then I need the date you submitted I-715. Also, do you have a specific date in August you received the extension? Accurate data helps keep our data reliable to interpretation.

Just received an update that my case has been transferred to another USCIS office and that office now has jurisdiction over your case.

I hope this is a positive notification and case will be approved soon.

Thanks for the updates. Check back a few pages to see discussion around being transferred and what this 'potentially' means.

P.s. Happy Valentines Day!

Some of us have had emails with one of the two tracking sites providing an update, some have had no notification and just a piece of mail drop in the letterbox. It depends and seems to be random. Many of us do check all available places for notifications daily. I go through phases of doing that, especially when there is a frenzy like this going on, although I don't know how healthy it is to do that, to be honest. ;)

Dang, it! Sorry to hear that, thanks for the update. And is it a coincidence that you are right next to someone else who also got an RFE? Is there a quota on RFEs that @GBOS can tell us about? I find it odd that two people who filed exact same time in such a small group as ours would both get RFEs.

**Tracking table updated** -- And just like that, we have 14% of Vermont filers who have been transferred. I wonder when we'll see our first approval and if it will follow a similar pattern as CSC. We had a few approvals before the first cases started to get transferred out of CSC.

@starsky RFE has no quota, only the interview has quota.  Luckily for I-751 filers that many of the interviews have been filled by people who file N-400 while I-751 is pending.  Most of these dual filers are interviewed, and that # of people being interviewed counted towards the quota for I-751 as defined by the Adjudicator Manual.

Regarding the RFE I received for my ROC, what exactly are they looking for with tax returns transcripts,

the Tax Return Transcript or the  Tax Account Transcript?

@redstripe54 What you need is the “tax return transcript.”  Whenever you request one from the IRS, it will have a tracking number on the top right of the form that USCIS can use to verify its authenticity (if they choose to do so).  That tracking number can be used to confirmed that a particular transcript matches your SSN (or your and your spouse’s SSNs)

Our first Vermont filer transferred. Thanks for confirming!

Got it! Pleased you got some activity on your case, even if its a transferred notification like some of us in California! T hanks for the update.

Welcome to the thread. So I can properly log your data in the below table, please give me the date of your NOA1. If that was 2/7/18 then I need the date you submitted I-715. Also, do you have a specific date in August you received the extension? Accurate data helps keep our data reliable to interpretation.

Thanks for the updates. Check back a few pages to see discussion around being transferred and what this 'potentially' means.
