I wonder how you get notifications today...they don't work on Saturdays, do they?  We haven't gotten a single update since the NOA date...no mention of fingerprint review or anything...just shows "CASE STATUS" on the app.

No, but they should.

My said the same thing "CASE STATUS" until the day it was approved. Have you setup an account at my.uscis.gov? Not much more information there but at least you can see they have your case.

Damn,  just got an update stating that a RFE is on way dated 2/9/2019, unbelievable, I sent in so much evidence, can't believe they want more! This is the first RFE I have got since starting the whole K1 visa process!

Take is a step further. If you are one of the few that get called for interview for 10yr GC, and then interviewed for N400, you just doubled the number of interviews.

yeah, no, still doesn't make sense. I have the same probability of getting an interview for I-751 as someone who has yet to file N-400. So the number of interviews would still be the same, no matter if one waits to receive their 10-year GC before filing or not. Filing N-400 before then does not increase my chances of getting an interview for I-751.

From various posts in here, a combined interview varies in length and set of questions.

Some people reported that their officer specifically did I751 interview first by asking questions about the couples before moving on to N400 interview.  While some others reported that not much emphasis was placed on I751 file at all.

Arguably, if one is being asked to bring a spouse to do the portion of I751 interview before moving on to N400 interview, one can view that as two separate interviews.

A combined interview requires that a spouse be present, while the N400-only interview does not.  For some couples, having to bring a spouse with is not necessarily convenient.

Im sorry to hear that Red.  What types of evidences did you submit with your application?  I remember talking about how much my paperwork weighed with sone other members and thinking our application at a little over two pounds of paperwork seemed on the light side, especially when some people were sending 4 pounds or more.

Ah, I see. I will report what kind of interview I ended up with.

This is not the first e-mail I receive on a Saturday about an update on my account. Most of the emails also come at night, i.e. 3:22 am. Prob some type of automated system

Question - where are green cards shipped from? I have a notification on informed delivery that I have an incoming piece of certified mail from San Francisco but haven't received any updates on either on the case tracking sites. Csc filer, if that matters 😊

Yes, it comes out straight from USCIS production facility in Corbin, Kentucky.  If a mail is undeliverable, it gets returned to NBC in Lee Summit, Missouri for address verification.  If the address change is received, then NBC mail it out again.  If not, it gets destroyed for security.

This time it appears to be sent out from Lee Summit, MO. That is what the note on "informed delivery" (under packages) indicates for me. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow.

LPK - that is correct.  The envelope will have a Lee Summit, MO (NBC) address on it so that any undeliverable mail piece can be returned to NBC for address verification.  If you have a tracking number, you can track it and it will most likely show you that it is physically shipped from Corbin, KY

The system used by Service Centers is called CLAIMS.  The update is being fed to another interface system we (applicants and the public) have access to on uscis.gov at least once a day, overnight.
