I'm in a similar boat. I have the N-400 interview on November 15th (Brooklyn)
On October 9th i had my infopass appointment, and I asked the officer if he could tell me if the interview is a combo I-751 / N400 or not.
He said he didn't have any visibility on it, but he recommended to bring my wife to the interview just in case
Fingers crossed for everybody

Oh wow. My problem also is that I got two confirmation emails with the information of my info pass appointment. I was told to log in Put my name and date of birth to print out the appointment letter. I am unable to access it. It says that there is no interview schedule for the person with that name and date of birth ugh.

Also when you went for the info pass did they take your green card and extension letter from you upon getting the stamp?

Hello! I just had my Combo interview recently. I only received an interview letter for my N-400. I did notice that my case status for my I-751 changed to "Case Transferred to Local Office" some weeks before my interview.

I attended the interview with my husband and our children. The officer was very kind, he called me up while my husband watched the kids in the waiting area. After putting me under oath, he asked me if that was my husband out there (US Citizen) as well as our children which I confirmed. He said that he was just reviewing my file before the interview, asked me for any updated information, in my case we just had a baby so he added the baby's name and place of birth to my information.

He then approved my I-751 and proceeded to ask me the Naturalization questions, I got the first 6 correct, I also did the reading and writing portion as well and passed. He asked me the Yes/No questions on the N-400 and then handed me the notice that I had been approved. I have since then been notified of my oath ceremony so we are thankfully waiting for that day. My interview in total took about 10 minutes.

Good luck! Everything will be fine, try not to worry too much!!

@Starsky, thank you for this awesome thread, I have been a longtime lurker.

Hello guys!

So my journey is finally over! Became citizen yesterday!

I had my I-751 pending with N-400.
My I-751 was transferred twice, and since July 1st it was at NBC center. About to weeks ago I called uscis and spoke with a tier two officer asking if it will be a combo interview and I was told no! He saod that most likely I will be send home because my I-751 is pending and it’s in NBC and not at my local office. And he can’t do anything about it. Thank god I took my spouse. When they called my name. He asked if I was with anyone I said yea my spouse is here. Have them come in because I need do conduct I-751 first in order to do n-400. So he asked few questions like how we met, where we work and who proposed. Looked at pics took more evidence and that was it. About 5-10min. Then I was alone, answers 6 questions correct in a row and I passed. By the way don’t stress the questions are literally the same from the book they give you when you go for biometrics so study that don’t stress yourself with other websites or apps or whatever you are using. After that I was told to wait as the oath ceremony in jersey is the same day.

I asked the officer also why the status never updated that my case was transferred to local office he wasn’t sure but he had all the files he needed.

I wish everyone on here luck luck luck please don’t stress because it’s not worth it. Everything will turn out right!

Congratulations. well done, I'm hanging around here for the last few stragglers on the Feb 2018,(I- 751) to be approved, because I was only finally approved only a month ago and felt there was lack of support for the last few stragglers on this forum!

Hello guys,

Anybody still waiting for I751 approval or it s just me waiting? I feel all alone and sad here...😌 no more posts, no more approvals... It s been 20 months for me and still no news from USCIS. I sent my I751 application to CSC exactly 20 months and 2 days ago and I didn’t apply for N400 . Anybody in the same situation? If yes let s just start another group to keep each other encouraged, that would be so nice. Thanks guys!

Thank you for you responses guys, it meant a lot to me. I thought i was going on it all alone. I felt sad and left out 😌, thank you for your support. I hope for a response from USCIS soon. Do you guys think i should contact my congressman? Please let me know your experience with contacting congressman, is it worth it? Thanks
