Yep I am an original Feb 18 filer. Crickets for over a year than an RFE (Looks like the lost most of my file) resent that followed by an interview. Nothing said at the interview apart from gives us a call if you haven't heard in 120 days. That was over 2 months ago so I figured I do the N-400

Oh man, I will hit my 120 days in 14 days. Don't know what is the next????

I'm so sorry to hear this, I know your frustration and can only hope that you will be approved soon.

The only new thing I can add is that I found out from a lawyer that by law you are still in legal status until you are either approved or denied, that is very important as things like stamps and extension letters expire and sometimes people haven't anything tangible in their hands to prove it. You are still in legal status.

Thanks Man, Yes I got a stamp 2 weeks ago for another year. But I'm just wanna finish this mess. So, I'm worry if they didn't respond in 120 days what I should do? I'm so close to 120 days.

Nothing's next. USCIS will just continue chugging along slowly as usual. The onus is on you to do something if you want closure on your applications. I believe I have already explained what to do previously.

Did you write to the Field Office, using certified mail? Did you contact the CIS Ombudsman for help?

At least the N-400 appears to be moving for now. got an online NOA-1 and they have scheduled my biometrics for that one. Who knows maybe someone will find my file again and decide to move it to a different pile (I would prefer the "approved" pile).

How fast your N-400 moves will depend entirely on your field office. My wife is a March 2019 filer and many of her fellow March filers have been approved. Her estimated completion date, by contrast, is June 2020. That's the reason we waited until the ROC was approved to file the N-400. We didn't want to be in limbo even longer.

When did you file N-400? It has tended to speed up things in some cases.

Yup, totally true. Exactly the same reason I also waited. I filed N-400 in Houston in May and timeline is estimated at next August for completion.

Generally Norfolk appears to be pretty fast (apart from the ROC that is).  I had 90 days for my AOS (when the national average was 6+ months) and they mostly schedule Biometrics within 2 weeks. Even the ROC interview was scheduled in 4 weeks.

Hey guys, any one in the same situation? So I have both cases pending, and N-400 interview coming up November 2nd.

So as I filed an inquiry for info pass appointment last Friday. I got a call yesterday around 4pm. The officer said that most likely it won't be a combo interview. He scheduled me for info pass appointment for November 5th at 8am, and November 2nd is my interview for I-400. When I asked him where is my I-751 case he said its in Texas, but I told him that it was in Texas like a year ago and that on July 1st it was transferred to NBC- Lee Summtit office, and I have received a letter stating that. Then he said that this is what he sees in the system. Mind you this is Tier 2 officer and when I spoke with tier 1 last week she confirmed that it was in NBC ughh.

I am just annoyed and frustrated. I really don't know what to expect at this point. I just want to be over with this process.
