I believe FusionGPS has multiple clients.   If they are actually worth their weight as a research company, they do not repackage work another entity paid for and sell it to another customer.  Besides, if you read all of Glenn Simpson's testimony that Diane Feinstein released a few weeks ago, you will see that Steele was hired after the work for WFB wrapped up which completely ties his doings with the DNC/HRC campaign.

 

Btw, how do you know it wasn't about adoptions?  It seemed clear the lawyer was lobbying against the Magnitsky Act which was ties to the Russian Duma passing a law not allowing adoption of Russian Children by Americans.  Seems like it might not have been a lie, but believe what you want.

Apparently you are not aware of the huge lobbying effort by the Russian government against the Magnitsky Act, or the associated actions the Russian government took because of it?  I will give you a hint, it involved adoptions, which of course pissed off a lot of couples that were in process of adopting a Russian orphans.  I know, the meeting had to be more nefarious than that to those in the MDL, so if you have solid proof that it was something more, maybe you want to text it to Peter Strzok.

 

As to FusionGPS, they started working for the WFB during the GOP primary gathering research on Trump and possibly other GOP candidates.  That contract was fulfilled when Trump became the nominee and the assumption is that the WFB paid for the work they contracted FusionGPS to do.  At some point, another entity contacted them believed to be Marc Elias (Hillary's lawyer) and started a new contract.  Ethically, they cannot share the work they did for the WFB here at least not in its finished form.  It was after Hillary's campaign hired FusionGPS that Christopher Steele was contracted to get information from Russia (this is the foreign collusion aspect), and it is also reported that Hillary's good friend Sidney Blumenthal got involved directing Steele where to dig in Russia.  The main point is that your response that FusionGPS was working for a conservative group is simply a red herring and completely meaningless as to the foreign collusion conducted by the Hillary campaign.

i don't have to do anything, mueller has a good handle on it.

also, ethics shouldn't only come up when you talk about hillary.  until trump supporters start caring about trump ethics (nonexistent), that's all noise to me. just like the adoption nonsense.

Regardless of who initially paid for the info the DNC was the end client correct? So your argument is since Trump's opponents on the right colluded with foreign agents that makes it okay for Hillary and the DNC to collude with foreign agents?

What is your argument?  Btw, nice deflecting opinion piece.  I think this was written before Hillary's buddy Sidney came on the scene.  Regardless, I suppose it is fine to use a lawyer cut-out to fund opposition research that uses a foreign agent, nothing unethical about that.  Hint, this time I am talking about Hillary's ethics or lack there of.

Who did the research work?  FusionGPS, or Hillary?  Never said I wasn't concerned, but in this case we have real evidence of Hillary's ethics along with the entire DNC. Heck, she went as far as taking over the DNC to make sure there was no Obama that would come along and screw up her ascendency.  However, if you have evidence of Trump's poor political ethics, please share it?
