It's been now two months and I didnt get my us visa yet

Hey there,

 

I applied in december 1st to renew my us visa, and till now I didnt get it yet. When I check my visa status on ceac site they tell me that my visa is still undergoing administrative processing.

Did anyone face the same problem? the first time that I applied they gave me back my passport in 2 days, and last time in the interview the lady told me that I will get my passport in two business days but till now nothing has happened!

I applied from montreal and i am not canadian.

(PS: I contacted several times the consulate but te answer was always that I have to wait)

Did anybody face the same problem? I am really worried

Administrative Processing is taking a long time these days.  Not much you can do about it...good luck.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You already got your answer. All you can do is wait. Can take weeks, months, years, who knows.

True.. esp when applicant holds a third country pp.

10/19/2017.......... I-797 NOA date

10/30/2017.......... Notice received in mail

10/30/2017.......... Check cashed

11/02/2017.......... Conditional GC expired

11/22/2017.......... Biometrics completed

  xx/xx/xxxx.......... waiting waiting waiting
