Where can I find the current processing time for AOS based on K1 at MSC

Hi Everyone, 

 

Can someone please help me where can I find the current USCIS processing time for I-485, which is based on K1? I can't find it on the Forms list at MSC on the below link:

I filed I-485 on August 30, 2017, along with my I-765. Since then, I received my EAD on February 2, 2017.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

For the AoS you'll have to check your local field office in the drop down list. The NBC/MSC initially receives the AoS packets to double checks everything is in order,  and will then send it off to the local offices. https://www.uscis.gov/archive/blog/2012/06/national-benefits-center-what-it-is-and is a better explanation.

 

Based off of google it looks like Detroit would be the one you're looking for.

Some offices are quiet and only take a month to process, but many are backlogged and can take over a year. It's definitely a waiting game.

Good luck with the job hunting, I just got my EAD as well. :)

10/27/2017 -Packet arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox
11/01/2017 -Priority Date
11/02/2017 -SMS Confirmation
11/06/2017 -NOA I-797 received for all 3

12/01/2017 -Went to scheduled biometrics appt
01/09/2018 -Receipt available online: AoS finally updated, EAD/AP still getting "Case number invalid" 

01/09/2018 - AoS is marked ready for interview to be scheduled. waiting for date.

02/02/2018 -Receive Paper approval notices for EAD/AP. Day 94. Receipt numbers FINALLY updated from invalid to approved lol.

02/07/2018 - Receive EAD/AP combo card in the mail. Day 99

30/07/2018 - Received notice of appointment for AoS interview scheduled 9/12

12/9/2018 - Had AoS interview and was approved! Day 320
