So seems like $35,600 then...

So i can rent a room and pay him cash qnd that doesnt count as me living in.the household?

It was my life long dream to join the military but like 5 years ago.i was diagnosed with epilepsy so no branch would take me.

Plan B:

Since you are a young pup:  Go work for a couple of years and pad your Bank Account. Then spend a couple years living in PHilippines on your saved income.  Then just file  DCF visa in PHilippines, you deal directly with the US Embassy in Manila and it's fast and low cost visa. You would have to marry in Philippines and be living in Phiippines for that.

Get into the workforce, Go down to Texas and get hired on in the oil patch.  Become a roughneck on a crew. Guy are starting out making $100K a year easily if are willing to work.  They can't find enough guys to work, it's a modern day Gold Rush.

They are expected to drill more than 100,000 wells in the next few years in the Permian Basin and Midland Texas would be epicenter.  http://www.cbs7.com/content/news/110000-new-wells-coming-to-the-Permian-Basin-470809733.html

I waited almost two years on my fiancé while she finished college.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

I dont know if i want to risk getting turned down on a k1 visa with my co sponcer.. It seems to make more sense to do the cr1 and the ceramony i was told would be pretty cheap there...

I didnt graduate highschool and havent gotten my ged yet so jobs like that i cant get right now. After i get her hete i plan to become an emt... But thats totally off subject now u all are confusing me... I dont know which visa to try doing the cr1 seems like it makes the most sense considering my income

The income requirement is the same at 125% of the poverty level for the size of the current household +1.  The difference is the ability to use a joint sponsor for the I-864 (CR1) versus a co-sponsor for the I-134 (K-1).

YMMV

So what do you recomend?

Wouldnt a court house marriage in the u.s. not look good for the green card process?

What do u recomend risk the k1 with a co sponcer or do cr1 where joint sponcer is completely allowed we would marry in davao

The CR-1 is much less expensive, and she would be able to work immediately after entering the US.  However, it would normally require you to marry her outside the US.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Backyard, courthouse, church,  or anywhere else, it doesn't matter as long as it was performed in accordance with the marriage laws of the state .

You provide the certificate of marriage  for the I-485, it looks all the same regardless of the venue

I did everything from petition to citizenship myself.  It is a matter of filing out forms and gathering evidence.

yeah but we dont understand how the income level works because of the co sponcer and my fiance are 2 diferent households. So my fiance would be him and i, his father is him and his wife. Can you tell us the 125% combined income would be..

If the petitioner meets the required income level for their household, no joint sponsor is needed.

If they don't meet the required income level, a joint sponsor can be utilized. The income level required for the joint sponsor is solely based on their household size (which includes the intending immigrant, so that's 3 in your FIL's case).

You do not combine household sizes - or incomes/assets - across sponsors. The sponsor only needs to take care of their own household members, not the petitioner.

You would be counted in the household size in all cases as you are the intending immigrant being sponsored.

No. His income is $25k/year. The 2017 125% of the poverty level minimum requirement for a household size of 3 (him, his wife, and the intending immigrant) is $25,525.
