https://www.***removed***/visitor-visa/sponsor-documents.html

If you read that site goes on to say that the "visa" is not and cannot be sponsored but that the trip can be...  a bit of a difference

YMMV

There's a reason why that site appears as "***removed***" here. ;)

Note: Visa applicants must qualify on the basis of the applicant's residence and ties abroad, rather than assurances from U.S. family and friends. A letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support is not needed to apply for a nonimmigrant tourist visa. If you do choose to bring a letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support to your interview, please remember that it is not one of the factors that we use in determining whether to issue or deny a nonimmigrant tourist visa.

We have thought about it...  Can you tell me what the total income requirement would be if my dad joint sponcers the cr1 he lives with my mother and me living on my own...if u could tell me the total income requirement it would be a huge help.... Because if the k1 is denied because they wont accept the cosponcer this is our other choice but no one can give me a direct answer of the total income ....

If someone could tell me it would be very much apprichiated

The income guidelines for 2017 are here: https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864p.pdf. The 2018 levels will be available later this year (same link), but they are generally a couple percentage point changes only.

The household size for you is 2: you + your partner.

The household size for your dad would presumably be 3: him + his wife + your partner. He would only count you in his household size if you are under 21 or if you are declared a dependent on his taxes. See the full set of rules in the instructions (https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864instr.pdf), page 6.

The 2017 minimum income levels are posted in the link above. As stated, the household size for him as a sponsor is 2. If his income is insufficient, then the father could be a joint sponsor. The father as a sponsor would presumably have a household size of 3. The exact rules to confirm his household size are posted in the link above. The 2018 and 2019 income levels are not posted yet.

Keep in mind these are minimum income levels. The CO makes a decision on the public charge concern based on the totality of the circumstances.

Ive thought alot about saving for acouple years and moving there but there is no jobs for americans there honestly. If their are they pay aboyr 500 peso a day. :-(

Lots of Americans live in Cebu area, some run websites similar to VisaJourney dealing with living in Cebu.  Some process visa applications, some do surveillance and private detective work for Americans on girls they are dating in Philippines.

There is lots of money to be made in the Philippines, you just need to figure out your niche.

Incarceration?

Jail or Prison?

I have been arrested about 5 times in my life,  Fighting a few times, DWI once,  Burgurlary - which I had to go to court and judge threw out case to due DA trying to railroad me.

I never have submitted those on any K1 application nor ever by asked by a CO in Manila regarding that, nor has any of my fiancé.

I am pretty sure unless something changes they will not ask for any paperwork regarding work or income.

If they did all one would have to do is get a job somewhere, work there for about month or two and bring paystubs and bam that works in US Embassy in Manila, Easy Peasy

Going to Jail make no difference in your case, it is the same as getting a time out from your parents.

1.) You don't need to worry about your father sponsorship, if things are going as they have been for the last couple of years no one will ever request income paperwork.

2.) If you did go to an embassy/consulate that required the I-134 then you just rent a room from your parents or rent an apartment and then you household would be you and your fiancé.

If you father wanted to sponsor someone then he would include household plus the person he sponsors, use the Poverty Chart and do the math yourself

Have you ever thought about joining the military.  You are the perfect candidate.  You seem young, like in your mid 20's.  Join the US Military and see the world, after 20 years you can retire with pension and benefits.  You could live in Philippines and live a pretty good life with that pension.

As far as jobs go, my brother in laws father owned/ran 3 bars in Angeles City back in the 70's and 80's.   I can promise you he was making much more than 500 peso per day

So seems like $35,600 then...

So i can rent a room and pay him cash qnd that doesnt count as me living in.the household?

It was my life long dream to join the military but like 5 years ago.i was diagnosed with epilepsy so no branch would take me.
