Hello February filers.  I am sneaking on at work and I wanted to ask if there are any February 2018 filers that their I130 has not been approved yet, in the dark?

Yes we are still waiting on approval! So frustrating they don't give us any information why it is taking longer than everyone else. No RFE, just keep waiting. Our case was transferred to local office in October and response is could take an additional 180 days for decision from January! Heartbroken, I need my husband here with me! 😢😢

The interview date is only sent by email. FYI - Regular mail delivery in India has always been extremely reliable in my experience.

The officer usually tells you  that your visa is approved or not at the end of the interview . it  takes time approx two weeks  to print visa and put it on your passport. I am also flying to USA from canada end of this month.  I had my visa interview at montreal, Canada.  after security checking they take you on 19th floor where you are called first for documents check and then second time for real interview.  Just know your spouse well. :P . interview was pretty simple they asked basic questions like what's your husbands name, do you have any babies,  the address you provided in the usa is there where you planning to stay, and how long you have stayed in USA on visitor visa.  Thas it. I hope it helps. Our journey of waiting and waiting finally came to an end. It took almost 1 year from the petition date. Wish  you all good luck,  just hang in there.  I am here to help feel free to ask me any questions.
