Congrats! My cc is 11 Dec too but still waiting for news about Jan interview date. Am ok if it is Feb but hope to hear some news soon so we can plan 🙏

Hi, did you receive an interview date as yet?

My CC is only a couple days after yours, December 14 that’s why I ask. By the way I did not receive and interview date as yet. Hopefully in the coming weeks since holiday season is over.

Thanks for your response in advance!

Hi guys, can any one let me know how long after you submit your documents NVC schedule an interview?

After all your documents has been accepted, usually 30-60 days they will schedule interviews. That’s the time frame that the NVC give themselves, that’s what they would tell you if you called them but really they usually schedule it way before that 30-60 days as they say. Also, keep in mind that the time it takes for them to schedule interviews has a lot to do with the embassy and how busy that specific embassy  in your country is.

I am also waiting an interview date, my case was complete on December 14, 2018. I received the letter of CC and I called them too and was told over the phone that I might get one for January or it could take several months base upon how busy the embassy in my country is. That they are waiting for the embassy in my country to inform them of available interview dates. So really like I said it has a lot to do with how busy or fast the embassy in your country is. Just hang in there, we’re almost at the finish line. You will hear good news before you know it.

Hope I was able to help.

Did you get your Noa1 yet?  If so then expect 12-15 months before your Noa2

Hi,

how do you know it will be 12-15 months? I havent received mine (PD March 05). I sent an inquiry and they said i have to wait 120 more days. It is crazy.

I am very disappointed at this point.

We are talking about CR1/IR1 petitions for spouse.   They have a PD of the date it is filed.

I suggest you fill in an immigration timeline and we can give you a better experience. Are you a F4 or F3?

Hello guys, sorry to update you so late. As of now, my wife is in USA (10 days now).

From the interview date to the date we got the passport it took like 3-4 business days.

My process was very smooth. From start to visa in hand exactly 10 months.

Hopefully the same for everyone else.

Good luck everyone!

My wife had her medical this morning in Copenhagen and it went really well. Next is just the interview in Stockholm on the 29th. :) I think we are booking our flights today. I will be flying to her February 15 and we'll leave Copenhagen for Detroit on February 17 (cancellation insurance included just in case anything happens!). Then it will all be over, finally!

I finally got my passport with visa back today. It didn’t come with a sealed envelope even though I was told so at the embassy. I had a miniature heart attack until I saw “iv docs in ccd” on the visa which apparently means that all the documents are in a digital case file and I won’t need anything but my passport at POE. It took 15 days from the interview to visa in hand (6 business days).

im so happy and relieved!! We pray for everyone on here to continue having a smooth process and get their visas soon!

Finally got approved today! Now on the the NVC. Hopefully that won't take long.

Congratulations Brenda and Clifford! Honestly, seeing your approval gives me hope for my wife and me. It seems everyone else that I am seeing approved at the Potomac Service Center has a NOA1 date from around June or July. I have been wondering what happened to us??!!?? (We're from March.) Seeing that you too had to wait so long at least gives me some consolation that we are not the only ones who, for whatever reason, seemed to have been put at the far back of the line...
